Template:LotRO Race Code  

Given the name of a Race this routine returns the number, 1-10, used in our db as the id number for that race.

NOTE: I realize that there are 2 Orc classes and 2 Uruk classes. Blackarrow, Warleader, Defiler and Reaver are classes, not races. I have expressed this fact to our devs. It is in their hands now. The four Monster races SHOULD be Orc, Uruk, Warg and Weaver. Sauron created the Orcs from corrupted Elves. In imitation of his new master, Saruman created the Uruk from corrupted Men. The elite, the Special Forces, of the Uruk were the Uruk Hai. An Uruk would kill you if you called him an Orc.
