Sanction is a beneficial status effect granted by guards in Aht Urhgan Whitegate and Al Zahbi. It allows for the gain of Imperial Standing and Crystals when fighting enemies that would normally grant experience points. Sanction effects are only valid in Aht Urhgan regions. You must have completed Aht Urhgan Mission 2: Immortal Sentries before you can receive Sanction from the gate guards.
