It is not really a reward, but it is, too. Machi Yoda also gave you a Gift Bag which he says you may keep or hand out, as it is just stuff he wanted to give to the students.

The three things in the bag are Quest Starters! Examine each and be sure to click the small button in the bottom-right.

• Handkerchief (Ggl) - This is for Shizoshanath (Ggl), at a combat training ground northwest of the Valley of Preparation.
• Fingerprint Mold (Ggl) - Take this to Steyathe in a building in the north of the Valley of Preparation.
• Signed Portrait (Ggl) - for Rayjinth, near the exit from the Valley of Preparation.
