One of the six Celestial Avatars of Vana'diel, all of his Blood Pacts are tied into the element of Fire.
A horned red beast, whose smouldering gaze and glowing eyes barely hide the flames within, strikes fear into any who gaze upon him.
His abilities are entirely concerned with offense, be they attacks or spells, his one enhancing ability being able to grant a party enhanced attack strength for a period of time.
Summoners learn to summon Ifrit by defeating Ifrit Prime in either the Trial Size Trial by Fire or the Trial by Fire quests.
