Here I am gonna track those values for the first digit that I see in the wild, and hopefully come up with a rule that explains them all. i think the first digit's meaning changes depending on the type of grenade. I am NOT tracking those stats that I already know I understand, such as Det Time and Refresh.
Parentheses indicates the number of examples I have found that agree with the value. If it has a letter that indicates quality it was seen on.
First Digit | Bio | Cluster | Flash | Frag | Pyro |
---|
Duration | Radius | Radius | Duration | Min DMG | Duration | Tick DMG |
---|
1 | | | | | 240(2) | 8(W) | 96(W) |
---|
2 | 8(W), 9(1G1P), 11(P) | 2.5 (2) | 6(W), 6.5(2G), 7(1W2B) | 5 (3), 5.3(2G) | 492(W) - 521(P) | 7.5(W), 8(1W1G), 9.5(P) | 105 (4) |
---|
3 | 8(P), 9(W) | | 6.5(B), 7(G) | 5.3 | 980(W) | 8.5 (G), 9(B) | 113(1G1B) |

4 | 7(G) | | 6.5 | 5 | | 8 | 120 |

5 | | 3 | 6.5 | 6 | 1938 | | |

- Frags: the first digit selects the range of Min DMG, and higher quality sets the Min DMG higher in the range. The same seems to be true of the Max DMG as well.
- Pyros: first digit sets the Tick DMG while Duration seems to be based solely on Quality.
