RaiderZ to Close Its Doors in August
With no devs around to maintain the game, Perfect World decided closure is best.
There's some bad news for RaiderZ players: Perfect World announced on Wednesday that they will be permanently shutting down the game on August 7, 2015. Now that developer MAIET has stopped operating and can no longer maintain the game, too many issues have cropped up and the publisher has come to the conclusion that closure would be best for the title.
Since there’s no more active developer, it’s very difficult to troubleshoot any issues that happen to RaiderZ. We’re unable to deliver a quality experience to you, our players, so we’ve made the difficult decision to shut down RaiderZ.
We will shut down RaiderZ on August 7, 10am PDT. Prior to the shutdown, we will bring back the east servers to working order.
All RaiderZ payments dated back to May 7 will be refunded 100% to your Arc Account Balance, which can be spent in any of our PWE games.
The RaiderZ item shop has its items reduced to the cost of one ZEN for those remaining until the end to enjoy, with players who had logged in over the past 30 days prior to the announcement receiving 1000 ZEN to spend.
You can read the entire shutdown notice on the RaiderZ arcgames site.
