2015 is almost here! With the new year fast approaching, Square Enix has announced several simultaneous campaigns to celebrate the event! Starting Thursday, December 18th, 2014, and running through to Wednesday, January 14th, 2015, players can participate in the brand new Double Unity Accolade campaign, or spend some time with returning favorites such as the Surge Walk and Alter Ego campaigns!

The December version update has barely settled, yet Square Enix is already dilligently working on the next major update for Final Fantasy XI! Scheduled for a January 15th, 2015 release, this update will introduce new Seekers of Adoulin quests, more Unity Wanted battles, puppetmaster adjustments, the ability to equip multiple linkshells simultaneously, and much more!

Yes, the Starlight Celebration of Final Fantasy XI is fast approaching. Starting Thursday, December 18th, and running through to the 31st, the three starting cities will be decorated for the holidays, with all the residents spreading merriment, cheer, and special prizes!

Christmas has come early to Vana'diel! For those needing some festive gifts a few weeks in advance, Square Enix has unveiled the new December version update of Final Fantasy XI! New Seekers of Adoulin quests, new Unity Concord Wanted objectives, brand new job adjustments, a new Mog Gardens system, the arrival of the Gifts job enhancement system, the ability to separate log windows, and much more!

It's almost time to start raking in points again! That's right! Starting Wednesday, December 10th and running through to Friday, January 2nd, the latest entry in the popular Login Campaign will be hitting Vana'diel. In addition to classic rewards, players can pick up the new Cait Sith cap, Makel-Pakel's grab bag for a job specific cape, the brand new Cipher: Rughadjeen, or the returning Cipher: Najelith!

A few months back, Square Enix launched a survey to let players of Final Fantasy XI voice their opinions on the June and July version updates for the game. Today, the results of that survey have finally been unveiled, accompanied by comments by Final Fantasy XI director Akihiko Matsui!

Final Fantasy XI will soon be seeing double! Starting December 10th and running through to the 18th, two campaigns will be hitting Vana'diel, with the theme of "double" behind both. With the upcoming "Gifts" system due to arrive in the next update, a Double Capacity Point Campaign will be arriving, letting you quickly amass points quickly for your favorite job.
For those that are wanting to be more craft savvy, a new Double Synthesis Skill Increase Campaign will also be running, doubling the rate of skill increases for leveling up your favorite craft!

On December 4th, 2014, a version update for the iOS/Android app "Square Enix Software Token" for generating one-time passwords is scheduled. It is advised to install this update as soon as possible, and instructions can be found below the break for any difficulties in updating the app.
