Several new campaigns for Final Fantasy XI will be arriving on January 16th, with the brand new Nyzul Isle Uncharted Area Survey Mysterious Item Campaign being the headliner! Vanquishing Notorious Monsters within the Uncharted Area will yield new mysterious items, that can be appraised into unique items such as spawn items for Pandemonium Warden and Skirmish weapons!

 In addition to the Nyzul Isle Campaign, January 16th will also mark the return of the Double Capacity Point, Double Simulacra Segment, and Skirmish Treasure Coffer Campaigns!

 The first Login Campaign of 2015 for Final Fantasy XI is right around the corner! Starting on January 10th and running through to Febuary 2nd, players will be able to receive and exchange points, acquired by logging in daily, for all sorts of in-game prizes! In addition to returning old favorites, players can exchange their points for the brand new Sheep Cap or the new Cipher: Areuhat for the Trust Initiative system!

 The January version update of Final Fantasy XI is fast approaching, and among the planned changes and additions are a number of new adjustments to the Puppetmaster job. The spell repertoire and spell priorities for the Soulsoother and Stormwalker heads will be updated, a number of attachments will see revisions for the sake of overloading as well as functioning in high-tier battles, and changes will be made to Puppetmaster's job point categories.

 2014 is coming to an end, and the year of the sheep is fast approaching! From Wednesday, December 31st, 2014 through to January 14th, 2015, the areas of Vana'diel will be buzzing with wooly little sheep prancing about. Maybe one will find some special treasures upon coming across them? Only one way to find out! In addition, a special Monstrosity creature will be made available, and the Tenshodo trading card game will be making its return!

 2015 is fast approaching, and to help celebrate the upcoming new year, Square Enix has announced the return of their ever-popular Alter Ego Extravaganza. In addition to eight returning favorites, including Tenzen, Elivira, and Noillurie, three brand new Ciphers will be made available! The bow-wielding Margret, the fiery Kukki-Chebukki, and grizzled samurai Gilgamesh will all be making their first appearances starting December 31st, so be sure to pick them up while you can!

 Prepare yourselves for battle, for the upcoming January version update of Final Fantasy XI will be bringing another installment to the popular Unity Concord system. Five new Notorious Monster objectives, for the areas of Cape Terrigan, the Sanctuary of Zi'tah, Ro'Maeve, Yuhtunga Jungle, and Western Altepa Desert, are to be added, with a host of rewards available from the treasure coffers upon successful completion!

Starting Wednesday, December 24th, 2014 and running through to January 27th, 2015, players will be able to purchase lottery marbles from the nearest representative of the M.H.M.U.  The death of Melvien de Malecroix, head of Adoulin's Order of Woltaris, marked yet another chapter in an ongoing tale of mystery surrounding the Sacred City. With his death, the body's subsequent disappearance, and the sleeping sickness ravaging Adoulin, the former reporters of the Adoulin Examiner, Famlienne and Skeptical Owl, take to the Celennia Memorial Library for answers. However, it is in Malecroix's diary that they find more questions, and the winter wasteland of the Kamihr Drifts seem to hold the key to unraveling this mystery!
