The alternate currency is "mark" of valor, not medal of valor as indicated on the overview.
Also, I created a heroic adventure in Bixie Warfront with two level 100s. Later, added a level 93 successfully (who fought the rest of the mission). But, he didn't get the reward. When he /petition'd, the GM told him he was too low a level to get the reward. But, he was able to contribute (not just a TA).

Let's be sure to inform potential buyers of this expansion that they cannot adventure in one of the expansions main attractions (heroic adventures) until they are level 85. I purchased the expansion just to go in these adventures but i was surprised when i couldn't at level 80. There should have been a level range noted in the description somewhere.

Actually every single Heroic adventure lists minimum level of 85.
