Many people have asked where all of you are getting this info. Please provide details as to where the eq2 info is regarding all these things that have been mentioned. I cannot find anywhere another post regarding eq2 much less all these new ideas that are suppose to be already created and hashed out |

Will we have to pay to hold both an EQ account and an EQ2 account?? Its bad enough theyre raising the current EQ price, but if we had to pay even more to have EQ2 as well, that would just plain suck. I really hope they dont find the need to do that, because it will drastically lower the number of p |

I think everyone is missing the point here. EQ2 is a huge announcement, and good news for EQ players!!!
When you build something, it has a foundation. In gaming, the foundation is the game's engine. EQ was NEVER intended to carry on this long or have this many upgrades. Frankly, I am surprised L |

Anyone notice that they are raising the price of eq1 when they are already REALLY cash crammed. Maybe its so they can fund the development of eq2 and not screw up like when eq1 was first released, or luclin. Well, lets hope so.

Well does not look like it will be a revamp at all but a new game. As for me I have been playing from back in Beta 2 3 and 4 then day 1 of retail and day 1 of every expansion pack. My avatars cannot be converted to the new EQ2 well then as i have often said I will be in game when the message World C |

In the computer world things become old and obsolete fast. The computer I bought a year ago 1.3ghz is already getting a little rough around the edges though it is still a good computer.
EQ1 was obsolete 2 years ago. It just made a large player base and people are unwilling to leave their friend |

EQ2 sounds great and all but I sure hope they don't neglect our beloved everquest in favor of EQ2! I will freely admit that I am as addicted to EQ as they come... and I don't want to loose the game and everything I've put into it. Actually this will be hitting the market well over a year from now and at least a year from POP.
I think I could use some new material for my game in that time, but if you don't need it then simply don't buy it and wait for EQ2.
This is assuming that EQ2 comes out on time... |

I see people complaining about system specs the release date is salted for Oct 2003 P3-733 and 512 ram and a GeForce3 card is going to be so out of date then it is pathetic. I expect by the time of release it will require at least a P4-1.5 gig and a 128 meg video card and probably 1 gig of ram. Th |

Hmm... Item degradability (I'm guessing armour will be included as well as weapons), more realistic banking, possible communities, slower character development, anti-twinking item restrictions, called shots. Is it possible, however remote, that Verant might actually be doing what I 'think' ol' Brad |
