| This seems to be a great zone to get started and to "master" tradeskills. They have a lot of "ingredients" and recipie books sold on the vendors there. As far as pelts go, the poachers drop hq wolf, bear, cat, pelts very commonly making gathering these things a lot easier tha | ||||

| If you see an adventurer looking dazed and confused in front of the portal be sure to let them in on this. I medded there for about 5 minutes and talked to no less than six that were still seeing the "bags". None of them knew how to get the "optional" patch started. *wink* | ||||

| Anybody have any info on the rare drops for these "newby" armor quests? Some of the ingredients seem like they are way out range for a level 5 dwarf paladin. Im lvl 7 and aqua goblins, for example, are still red to me. | ||||

| the forest drakelings in front of felwith seem to drop scales much more often then the ones near kaladim. I hope this helps. And no, I have not been able to complete any of the paladin quests yet. frustrating. | ||||

| How do you feel left out? The DE's all have newb armor quests. The SK armor especially, looks very cool. I completed a few of the pieces for my DE SK and and it looks like I just walked out of the Planes with him at lvl 11 with the new armor. | ||||

| Coyote Skulls also drop off wolves. They are a key source of money for my DE Necro that I started with the purpose of NOT twinking him. :) I'll see how long that lasts. hehe. Anyway, I have gotten coyote skulls off of the wolves in Neriak. | ||||

| Monks and Beastlords must really put a premium on stamina. It seems all weapons are very quick with not devastating damage.. Thats a lot of swinging. | ||||

| Finally, decent gear for newbies for approriate risk. I agree with Elatriel, the drakeling skales are RARE, escpecially with bards hunting for them too for their newbie armor. My advice....do not get rid of scales at all, you will either need them or you can sell/trade them to bards. The warrior | ||||

| I just got this with my 45 SK and i think i will give it to my 11 Bard because my SK doesnt use 1hs and this is comparable to the Blackened Alloy Long sword my bard has it is 10/26 with no stats and i think i would like the stats better than the extra dmg. | ||||
