| I am 4th level in smithing and it will let me attempt to melt down a helm and mail with a lightning crystal but I failed with both. I didnt use the guildies to help me synthesize it(support). | It only has 2 to 3 more defense if you are than brass scale mail most people are getting an advance job so you wont be using it for a while, if at all. You will have it for not even obne level if you are going for a AJ | ||||

| You could go to Outer horotoro ruins in windurst (WEST Saruta Baruta) the furthest top left tower on the map. There are TONNES of gobs. At a high level with black mage, you can run around the ruins and wipe out entire rooms with area spells. | ||||
