| Nope... this definitely WASN'T forgotten... this was to prevent the mass amounts of Vah-Shir or Beastlord TWINKS that were going to be created at the opening of SoL. | There is no fixed 'spawn time' on the giant patriarch. He spawns in the fort and outside the fort rarely. There were *2*, yes, *2* giant patriarchs up when I got mine. | OK, The damage bonus that you see on the weapon is calculated by nothing but level. If you can equip it, the dmg bonus should be the same for a 55 warrior and a 55 sk.... | I got one tonight as well after spending about 15 minutes killing everything in sight around Shar Vahl. Gorehorn popped, and he dropped the mask the first time. As for how difficult he is, it depends on your class. My level 44 beastlord was able to kill him no problem, and since I was doing nothing | ||||

| I spawned Gorehorn 4 times last night. Three Gore Covered Horns and then the mask on fourth try. Two horns rotted on corpse, no takers. | Probably no Monks or SKs on it because Regrowth is a pretty powerful thing in the hands of a FD puller. With the Fungi tunic monks can FD on tough pulls, regen enough to take a few more smacks, and then stand and pull the rest of the distance.
