| I have since completed the quest, and even though it doesn't say BST can use above, I assure you that they can. | The winged vamp (at least the one on the ground floor) can be single pulled by a SK. However, not only is it immune to snare spells, but it's also immune to all fear spells. | Actually if you take into consideration the armors (formerly monk only armors can be worn by them, and they are only leather based) and skills (many hand to hand weapons are monk/bst only) they are more of a monk/shaman hybrid, not a warrior/shaman hybrid. | ||||

| seems like a perfectly good reward for a not-too-difficult quest. not everyone has an 'uber' guild behind them, or a friend who has been playing for 2 years with a bank full of gear, or 50k to burn. my twinkie cleric runs into plenty of people who are still struggling along with less-than-ideal | ||||

| Did the same thing, Aedon. Camping the spires near Paw in your 20's is great for exp and loot. Collecting the scrolls is just something you can do without really thinking about it. Once you get all four, travelling to and from Qeynos, Freeport and, eventually, Butcherblock is well worth the time. | ||||

| these quests are great! they give iksar the best newb quests in the entire game :) you have the bonechip, scorpion pincer, curscale armor, curscale buckler (crap item but good xp hunting while getting it), and now these....oh yeah, dont forget the shackle, shaman mace, necro helm and sk khukri quest | ||||

| Just referring to the wisps glowing-- I remember as a newbie I used to do this to fire beetles. I'd only kill the ones that shined at night. That way, I could sell them to merchants and make enough income to buy food later on. Makes me wonder why they don't just make it so that mobs with light sourc | ||||

| All this seems to be off the topic of above item, but I will add to this current thread, crippling blows are rare. However, they do not wait for low hps and are totally random it seems, my warrior(lvl 24) scored several crippling blows (so far that I can remember) from the first blow. The ones I do | ||||

| Maybe someone else posted this and I missed it, But I found a way to Re-obtain your newbie Items. This quest, like many others can be Multi-Quested, that is, multiple persons can complete different parts. What you need to do is have a friend create a New char that they don't intend to keep. | ||||
