| I've downloaded the directx 8.1 program twice already and still keep getting the same no 3d devices found. Some of the previous posts said that downloading the directx 8.1 would fix it but it probably won't. Everquest is too messed up to be fixed by downloading one program. | ||||

| Well i have had some problems whilel trying to download and here is what i did: while downloading i got can not download xxxx.XXX file. I close the patcher and tried again. At 1:00am EST I was done patching. Every time i got the error close and restart. I had to download the file from Everquest. | ||||

| If you have Windows 98 or better... YES, you need DirectX 8.1 installed. Download it from Microsoft or the EQ website, and then install (or reinstall) the most current drivers for your video and audio cards.
