| You're assuming that it uses a graphic from the quote-unquote Old World. Remember that Velious promises new texture sets (none of which I've seen yet, aside from that jewel-studded wood-elf from months ago), so it's entirely possible that they went ahead and threw in robes for Barbarians, Elves, Dw | ||||

| They added new textures, not new models. The only new models I have seen so far are some of the helm graphics, would be nice if they added robe graphics to all races though. | ||||

| I tried this strategy out with my lvl 13 Nec and it proved to be an excellent way to quickly level. Good monsters to pick on are the Basilisks and Rock Dervs. Both give excellent exp and items. | Tizmak is medium only Cured Tizmak is Small and meduim race... The new leather look is what most people buy it for, but the stats are not bad as well, at least for a couple of classes.
