Hail -
As Sparr mentioned, the pathing in this zone is "unique". This not only applies to mobs but to your PETS. As a mage, I could not believe the strange twists and turns my pet would take when he was following me around.
So, a few tips for the pet classes. Use your "pet guard HERE" comma |

Crags are great experience (I think they have a bit of a bonus cause their poison is so strong)
They also drop a lot of webs.
These make great druid prey at the right levels (I'm remembering 23 thru 25 but its been a while)
A good policy is to keep Treeform mem'd when hunting these things. As |

Here's what to do before even leaving town as a newbie. If your class/religion factions are high enough go to th |

I've been using this area as a Iksar SK since level 25 when I did the SK Test of Pain Quest. I'm level 31 and I will soon have to abandon this nice spot. There is a pillar near this camp where I park my pet nearby. I roam the area looking for blues which are typically Man Eating Vines, Scourgewin |

Simple. There are 2 ways to hunt in BW. One requires Fear Kiting at the base of the slope near the Skyfire zone. There is a bit of a pathing error there, nothing that could be an exploit as the mobs do not get stuck but they do tend to folow a sertain path when feared, when fear breaks however th |

Though rarely slain, the PoD operates on Beta Neutral as well...in fact there was an incident a while ago where killing a mob lowered your BN faction which is something that never should happen. Anyway people who killed this mob were suddenly KOS to the PoD rofl... |

I rarely see more than 10 people in this zone on a given night. Especially since it has extremely nice items. There's the named sabertooth tiger, level 50, that drops the Silken-cat girdle, 5AC +9str +13dex 1.5weight. Froglok Hunters and Foragers that drop the medallions needed for the key to get in |

Let us not forget the undead camp. Near the pyramid and the NK zone on the river side. Ghouls, skeletons, and zombies abound. Good hunting as the NK zone is very close and if you get into trouble, just zone out and give them a few minutes to calm down, then hit them again. Good xp's at the right l |

Another version of this strategy that I use is to have my charmed griffawn attack another griffawn. I will usually hit the griffawn being attacked with a DOT and one careless lightning to ensure my pet will win. Then as soon as the fight is over I caste dispell magic on my pet. This turns him aggr |

I only recommend that 29+ cleric having there, if he/she is in a group. Those undead spawn close together, some have pets, and some can cast a high level fear (that even with high resistance one can easily get feared). I agree that Crushbone orcs are a great source of loot: cash, armor, weapons ... and sometimes Crushbone belts. I disagree that "nearly all of them" drop belts. I've seen times when it was more like 10% of them.
Also, Crushbone is not a good place for solo players below about level 5 or six or |
