Like Dwarves, Halflings can be good warriors too! We can wear most of the same armor as dwarfs, and don't get in the way of casters. We have naturally high agility, which means we can avoid getting hit more often.
Trolls and Ogres find it difficult to travel because they're evil. Ogres have |

Hehe, I leveled my twink warrior to 20th in 3 days killing 4 hours each day. I used this pattern to fight, I pulled 1 yellow, got down to half health while killing it then pulled one or two blues and gain health during fight. Then repeated over and over. The key to this was high AC rather than awes |

Just to clarify a couple of Cannis' points:
When you gain a level, many things happen, as he stated; yes, you do get five points to place into your skill areas (combat skills, language skills, etc)
Gods really only influence two things: faction, and some items. The item portion is a bit tricky |

Yes, equipment is the main source that will bring up your stats, but some classes can "buff" you so that their effects will temporarly increase your stats.
However hit points go up per level and your Natural AC and Attack will go up as your skills do. If you're a warrior you also get a |

Bhert,
Here are a few answers to your questions (I am answering only because you are French Canadian and not French French  ).
-I started on a 56k modem and it worked fine. Sometimes, zoning might take a little extra. Overall, it is no big deal (although my DSL is better)

A Warrior can tank, fight, tank, bash, tank, dual wield, tank, taunt, tank, double attack, tank, kick, tank, riposte, tank, disarm, tank, dodge, tank and look good in their armor. Did I forget to mention they can tank well? BTW, I think halfling and gnome warrio |

Bhert,
Especially in the beginning, I would not take on several MOB’s deliberately. AoE tend to do a little bit of damage to several people. If you don’t kill them (which you will not do at lower level), you will be attacked by several MOB’s at the same time. As a caster, hits on us usua |

There is no reason not to play a wizard, but if you want to, maybe a shaman or cleric would be good. They have spells, so you will get the hang of that, but are tough enough that you can hold your own in melee. I like Vah Shir, but any race can work. Have fun with it.

Lair of the splitpaw. Good exp bonus and faster pulls than you may need to see. 26 may be a couple levels early but you'll find a group there. Learn to gauge the Main Room and with a full group or 26-34 you will never make a CR while you see the next 6-8 levels go by in days. |
