No, speialization is different from skill in that school. If a successful specialization check occurs, then the spell costs less mana, and may have less chance of fizzling (not sure about that one?) Also, what makes you think only mages can use practice runes? Where did you here that? ALL PURE CASTE |

At level 4 any mage who has any clue what he was doing can solo a yellow mob WITHOUT having to tank for the pet. Or at least both of my mage chars could.

Oh, and another thing...
practice runes are combined to increase your skill, just like a trade skill, IT DOES NOT GIVE MORE PRACTICE POINTS AT YOUR GUILD! Why do you post all this stupid inaccurate information? |

I keep noticing more things...
Chain casting: Chain casting is when during a battle, you begin casting a elemental summoning spell while you have a pet up. BUT while the spell casts, you type /pet get lost but don't hit enter till the last second before the spell finishes casting. Voila, new full h |

Just one more thing before I shut up. I have not used practice points since level 4, aside frm 1 point in research. So no, that was not the info I was asking about. Once again, why do you, at lvl 10, think you know more than someone who has actually played the game for a good period. |

Summary:
1. Buy A Weighted Axe.

Detail:
The weighted axe is the key element, and the reason it's #1 on the list. It's 45dmg/150dly. It's only a 3.3 ratio weapon, and the delay is attrotious. However, as a f |

Hail, fellow Woodsmen!
Ronzonius here to explain a little about Rangers.
First of all, Rangers are a mix between Warriors and Druids. Our Warrior instinct tells us to fight, tank, find AC and HP. Our Druid side tells us to be a little smarter, and use nature to our benefit.

I agree the weighted axe is a great weapon for pulling. I looted mine shortly after movning to FM to hunt at the giant fort. I would slam the mob, to make sure I could hit it, and then attack with the weighted axe. Run back to the group. Waite for the mob to hit me and the attack with the axe aga |

Well.. the bow is not a thing to look over. If you have to skill, you can do some major dmg, while the thing is rooted. Plus, only rangers can critical, and on a good streak with carved ashwood, i can do it about 5 times before root breaks. The more you do without it hitting you the better. RANG |

I'd have to disagree with your first point. All our spells have a use, but not all of our spells are equally usefull. Let me explain.
Al'kabor's line. This line is easily over looked, and really only marginally useful. Why? Because our other ranged Area of Effect spells deal more damage for less |
