| Veloria D'von (above) is wrong about guards not helping you kill a mad man. I had 2 on me, ran up to a guard, and he clobbered those 2 bozo water droppers like they were armadillos....thus if you have a mad man on you, just relax...dont panic, and just run to a guard, and you will be fine. | ||||

| I've only just started a charactar in Faydark, but have found these guys to be the best loot for a lv 1 player. Wasp wings are not worth much, but some of them give up a venom sac worth 3.5 gold - not bad for easy lv 1 pickings. Anyone know what the venom is useful for? | ||||

| Becareful if you are a Darkelf Shadowknight... I was in a group and they killed the troll slayer. I got a faction hit for it. And now I am KOS to the troll guards. Not fun... and that leaves only two cities I can trade in. Whoops! :) | ||||

| Great for newbies. The fangs sell for about 9 copper, the eggs for 1-4. You can usually loot 2+ skins off of one kill, and they usually sell for about a silver. Great money for the younger players. | ||||

| I would love to be able to use these they kick @$$ but oh well monks would be better with em. If i ever was a monk though i wouldnt use it to kill the black burrow commander even if I was level 8 id set my sights a little higher :P | ||||

| This creature is part of a quest given to you buy a cleric on the 3rd floor in front of the stairs! Also if your a Pal you'll wanna kill as many of these as posibly at lvl' 2-3, but it lowers your faction with Opal Dark and Freeport Malitia so don't kill too many of them. | Use a bard when fighting the lords. They have 2 MR songs that work great when fighting them. We had a group that consited of a wiz lvl 19, a tank lvl 23, and me a bard lvl 22. We had no trouble killing the lords. | ||||

| I must agree with Veledan that they are good targets for begginers, they also give royle jelly,which is worth a couple silver.The only other newbie monster in the area is the bat. | ||||

| He seems to be a paladin, seen him cast a shield like SP armor or daring. He must be tough to kill, we killed a few named guards at the town gate and they were taking 15, 20 dam from a L50 wiz's ice comets. Good idea to bring an army of fighters :) | ||||
