| yes dex does matter to any caster or meleer. Dex on a caster either helps u to cast through getting hit or if you are disrupted it tells you right away more often instead of casting the whole spell just to get the u've been disrupted message. | The quest with the othmir chief in Cobalt Scar is an easy way to get blue diamonds. Charisma isn't as crucial as everyone says. I have done it three times now with only about 120 charisma. I have received two blue diamonds and one ruby. | ||||

| I just looted one of these on a run through Kithicor at night. (I risked breaking hide/sneak to loot an inky corpse). I checked here to see what it's worth and find that it's a GM event prize. It looks like a great weapon to be honest. I guess it'll go to my young necro. | ||||

| Too bad the saves aren't higher, otherwise I would replace my Rowyl's Boots with these. Great agility.. although the dex. on the Rowyl's boots keeps the fizzle's down, /grumble.. why did VI have to add more fizzling.. | ||||

| The 'minus sv vs fire' is a dead giveaway for a vampire drop. All the other blood weave stuff drops from vampires too so that's really a safe bet. Not sure if it drops of a named though... | ||||

| Faeries (or "fairies") in Greater and Lesser Faydark. It's a fairly common drop off all fairy types I believe (maybe 1 pile of dust in every 4 or 5 kills). By the way, this stuff is also needed for the Shadow Knight Darkforge Boots quest in temple of Solusek Ro. | ||||

| With all of these nifty new hand to hand weapons being found in the game, the melee of monks and beastlords is getting spiced up quite a bit. Even if these things aren't "uber" or better than old-world weapons, it's still very cool just to have something different for a change. | ||||

| My hubby's monk has this.. it drops off of the 'named' vampire in the vampire fort.. very tough mobs.. take a well balanced group of 50ish to take on these mobs.. but the drop lots of gems like blue diamonds etc.. the named ones are the winged ones | ||||

| hehe....I have a druid in his 50's. If you're worrying about your AC, you're not playing your druid as a druid. We're a caster class at high levels. Maximize your mana and resists and keep your distance from the mobs. | ||||
