I think the levels should be changed.
Level I affect spells 1 - 30
Level II affect spells 1 - 50
level III affect spells 1 - 60
At the level you can actually get the items the spells you would be using are higher than would be benefited by the items.
gives a nice degenerating scale |

I know it's pointless to convince you ppl(well, most of you) that being a programmer on such a big project is frustrating as hell. I've been there(massive Delphi project). Even after 1,5 yrs not a single programmer knew 1 litle bit of the modules from other |

Here here, totally agree with you mate, the sheer number of users and differnet combinations of PC components possible is astounding but don't forget they are working with direct x to get around the whole multiple system configurations thing, even direct x isn't an inexhaustive list of part types. I play this game to much, and stay up late playing it when I should be going to sleep so I can stay awake at my desk at work. I will say I enjoy saying the famous line,
"/gsay One more pull then I am logging guys ! "
and realizing 20 minutes later I am still playing.

These being a level I effect, only jump into play when you cast a level 20 or lower spell. Levitate being one of those spells as it is ... 14 I think. Otherwise, they just sit there an look pretty. :) |

Basically the best one wins, effects of the same basic type (like mana preservation types) don't stack. The one that gives the biggest benifit is the one that is used. |

I agree with your suggested focus levels and with the post of Clarge. Some items are only able to get a lvl 25 or 30th and it's a lvl I items which means it was obsolete to you at level 20th.
Maybe not as much for hybrids, but clerics, wizards and the other casters are looking at a lvl I item and |

not affliction efficiency but extended affliction III ... The only pieces I see are for Int casters, are there any pieces that would fit fine for a shaman? Dots are shaman's best damage dealing spells, did we get ignored? |

If you are a programmer who has worked on a game of this scope, then maybe you can scrutinize. Few people understand what it takes to do things of this magnitude. |

I don't really play EQ much anymore (lucky if I get 2 hours a week), but I just gotta say it sort of makes me mad I played a mage since it came out and no changes were made (that helped a lot, most were nerfs). Then, beastlords come out, and with all the new people wanting to play it, pet classes b |

You summed Legends up pretty nicely. I've only heard one positive thing about the server, and that is the fact that less "k3wl d00ds" are there. But people complain more, whine more, and yell more on Legends because they pay more money for basically the same game the other players play. |

First of all, let's be clear about something here. All that was upheld in this was that the court decided that the Arbitration Clause in the EULA should be deemed reasonable, and this case was sent to arbitration. That is not earth-shattering... and no precedents that will rock the online world ar |

Here is the problem that I have...
You can not read the EULA until you install the software.
Once you open the software, you can not return it to the store for a refund.
As it is right now, you are S.O.L. if you don't agree to the EULA and want to return the software. |
