| If you think about it and closely look at the stats you will see that this shield has 50AC! And if that isnt enough it can be worn in the back slot. As you all know, nearly every caster item in the game has low or no AC. It is only fair that they leave this item to Melee classes only. | ||||

| I agree completely...let's see, pre-Luclin one of the best 1hs weapons (other than some of the SK only ones)in the game, period, was the primal velium warsword, which was 13/20 if i'm not mistaken (not to say this isn't a good weapon, but with some of the things coming out of Ssra and such it isn't | ||||

| Actually, it's not odd. Don't think of this item as a caster item. It's not. It's a plate-wearer item. If you wanted it to be for Shamans and Druids because of the wisdom, then it would follow that it would also be for Rangers and Beastlords. | ||||

| Yeah, heh, "you have your own shield" Too bad it's freakin' worthless to a ranger unless he/she is bow kiting/dot-ing since it's secondary ONLY. The point is that 15wis and BACK slot equippable is FAR better than a secondary only item with 20wis for hybrid classes at least...not to mention | ||||
