well at one point when i still had my high lev Cleric i would have payed top PP for this item... and the guy saying that its not worth much becuse it has no ac, hummm well lets take a look at this. lets say you clr or druid is at the 200 mark for wis. you add a 10 wis slot to range and drop lets say |

This weapon dropped off of a named Potameid: Myraephe. It procs smite, useful for holding aggro. Fight wasn't too difficult. A 59 chanter and 51 beastlord duo'd her, and a non-named one at the same time, when she dropped this. She was wielding it during the fight. |

Yeah, I'm on rallos zek, and no drop is the way to go. This beats the hell out of froggy crown on rz. A lvl 60 necro buddy of mine (Staffros) got this the day after jaggedpine was patched. A group of his guildmates and he went there and killed the queen. They got a little more than they bargaine |

I got this item after killing timber griffon's non-stop for about 4 hours a day, three days in a row. Only downfall is the cha, but just take it off when selling. Druids may have trouble with charming animals though. As for the golden talon never seen one and prob never will b/c i doubt it exists. T |

One other thing. The biggest downfall to this item, is it is UGLY. One nasty looking eye staring you down EVERY time u look at your inventory. That small detail isn't enough to make me give up this item. |

The stuff on it is lessened. You see this examining it in a trader window, or even in the bazaar interface.
Like if say something was ac 16, hp 80 and recc level of 60. If you are 55, you'd be reasonably close and maybe it would be ac 15 hp 76? I never get it straight if it lowers hp or a stat, |

This cloak is expensive to make...One of the most expensive combinations in current tradeskills.
Just the 3 imbued rings to make this cloak requires a blue diamond each ring. That is not counting the cost of the ore and other pieces.
Even with 250 skill and Geerlok expect at most a 50% sucess |

No, you do not get full benefit for wis/int over 200, you get half. At level 60, you get 12 mana per point of wis/int up to 200, but only 6 mana per point for 201-255 wis/int. |

Beastlords can now use this item. I'm excited about that because I use both Piercing and Hand to Hand.
It's a bit disappointing to hear that this procs at 45 though. Fireclaws proc at 37 and they have a 75 DD fire spell. |

After that, ppl began finding "Orc Scalps" or Orc Pawns and Centurions in Gfay and Crushbone.

I found Maegryn(?) the Pure just outside the Potemeid Caves. She was swimming around the lake.
Resisted snare multiple times even tho lt blue to me - so prob immune. I recall that she cast on me but not 100% sure. She hits hard for her level and I think she is significant undercon for non-tankin |
