Okay, I have found a few occasions in LGuk when folks just don't need or want me as a 36 cleric (often it is a question of full groups). Is there someplace near the zone that I can solo shin ghouls of whatever sort?
Thanks,
Bram |

At the gates to the king room there are several triggers that you can push into the wall. Any idea what they do? |

If you make a trip to Lake Rathe in the near future, fellow EQers, I would ask you to investigate an area of Lake Rathe about which little is known and seemingly even less is written.

I, too have received Electrum AND silver bars from these Muddites. I believe even off of Minors. However, at 19 with a strong pet, I have greater fear of the Minors than Elders. Minors DO hit harder, so much so that the frequency does not matter as much. Best bet is to throw a damage shield on if yo |

Actually, you CAN come back after this. It's easy:hunt minos. They give you good faction with the gnomes, and after a while you can even start doing quests again. I've seen even fellow gnomes camping these guys, then when theyre done they just whack slavers for the rest of the day; no sweat. Just ma |

My dark elf cleric was just here at level 25 doing these wood elf rangers and scouts right outside their rock wall thingie on the island way south (neg 4000 neg 6000 roughly). They were green to her but most of them were xp. She only got one elf blood (shes an adamantite smith) so they don't drop |

Just a quick clarification on the Bandit Camps in the East part of the zone.
There is a 4 or 5 group spawn in the hills Northwest of the Blacksmithing shop at Loc -1055, -11950.
The tented camp just to the south of the road is at Loc -3600, -11095 and is a 5 spawn camp. The road just to the North |

If you are looking for a very fast way to level up, acquire about 5 backpacks of Bone Chips and turn them into Wolten Grafe in the Paladin Guild. Doing this will get you from Level 1 to Level 6 or 7. Naturally, your skills will still only be at the level 1 mark so you have a LOT of catching up to do |

If you're a little more daring, the fastest way through the zone is to run straight East/West along the 0 N/S Location line. There are rarely any critters right along this line and it cuts travel down by over half of the water method. Just keep an eye out for wandering Lions and the (very) rare HG a |

The Paladin Guild can be tricky to find. It is behind the Cleric Guild, up the stairs and behind a block (the block hides a doorway from view). It took me quite a while to find where the guild was (they had no decent maps at that time) and I have heard many a newbie Dwarf Pally asking the same quest |

Another great place to solo is pulling to the EK zone. Nothing comes by the tunnel, so you only have to pull chasm/gorge minos and muddy elders a little ways into the tunnel and nothing else will help. Beware of getting blinded at the worst times though. |

I started soloing there at 35 as a bard, so I'm fairly sure it can be done.
First, the zone line is very close. It's no problem at all to pull to the zone and get out when you have to.
Pulling singles will take practice and patience. You'll pull doubles most of the time until you get it down |

HI folks! I'm making the move from Overthere, where I usually group with just a druid. We're having tons of fun snaring and fearing along the zone walls, where the mobs just run horizontally. Is the fear pathing that good here as well? Or am I gonna have to start tanking?

Hmm, didn't try soloing here at 36, but for shins there is a room just off to the left of the zone where they spawn, and they will also spawn in the hall that leads to the water to the right of the zone. Good luck to you.

Great zone I think. Gobbo's are good when low, minotaurs offset by the muddy's and evil-eyes you just learn to avoid like the black plague if you're a tank based group.
The muddites aren't too bad if you have some good armour and tank with a caster friend. Arrows can work wonders on the minors to |
