Okay, all these posts are very out-dated.
Just to sum it up, Iksar are now THE best warriors.
Iksar can wear all velious quest armor (Kael, SS, Thurg). Because of the natural AC bonus, Iksar benefit even more from the massive AC pieces from these quests.
Not to mention Regen and Night Visi |

I am Ironhom Hammerforge. Do not believe everything that this vile Troll tells you. Think a little and you will see that the tongue that is cut from a troll will simply grow back. It is therefore impossible for there to be any mute trolls that are still living.

It gets tiring listening to all the twinks and farmers complain about armor that drops off a lvl 30ish mob. How about you start a character and without twinking or playing the "buy low sell high" game in your server's auction zone see what sort of armor you have in the mid-twenties when a group cou |

Bronze is typically 2pp per AC, these are slightly better and have a MR bonus so I'd say 2pp 6gp per AC is fair. |

here is how i solo as a lvl 36 mage on the snow cougars:
- cast malise on the mob since low aggro spell and you're pet can root it (assuming u all know to use earth when solo'ing)
- ds your pet (have burnout and 2 sword of runes on him so he can double attack)
- blast away on the mob with b |

A wood elf ranger is a very good choice for your starting character. Might I suggest hitting the ranger forum and looking for my posts on creating a ranger and playing one in Greater Faydark for levels 1-8.
Rangers are a great class for a beginner because they are quite well rounded. We can solo |

they say that in-game too. Warriors own aggro!.. whatever. Wizards own it, the dumb ones anyway over nuking the mobs, which is not their job. Enchanters own agro even more, if you break a mezz. Sometimes hard to break a mezz without mob running to chanter, even if you stun/slash/taunt it. I not |

Chanters are weak to start with, and in the mid levels 20-40, are able to solo given the right circumstances. After around 40 it becomes a bit easier, assuming you are decent with tactics. Chanters soloing isn't about tanking (ever), or tac-nuking things (except for an ocassional rare instance), i |

Monster summons have always been able to cast a DS, just not always. However, they do not seem to cast spells of their type very much for some |
