| Gave these to my level 1 warrior, and must say can truly kick some serious but!! Killing rats and fire beatles in a few hits. I'm level 19 now, and STILL using them, and the damage keeps going up, so I guess I'm still limited by a "damage cap" or something. I plan on using these for a long time. | ||||

| Best kept secret in the game. A strong group of mid 20's can take on the drolvarg camp for some great experience. The best experience however is in the Drolvarg underground. You will need a chanter and a cleric here as the pulls are endless... For one reason alone... Nobody else is here! | ||||

| I never follow the path. Just because there's a path, don't assume it was made for the good guys. The LFay path seems to have been made for Brownie Scouts and Undead Sprites. Definitely follow the wall to the left; it's even shorter than the path. Do it invisible if you can. | ||||

| This is an excellent zone for leveling from 17-20 if you can actually manage to get into a group. | Orc groups are very good for loot, and the exp is good from about level 14-17, after that most everything is either green or blue with the occasional yellow or red. | As of the patch on 5/27/01 alot of the loot in Velks was upgraded and some other odd changes in the zone also. As far as I can tell all the armor drops from the k0b0ldz have been boosted, the crappy spider fur collar (random loot) is now AC 10 +7 str +7 svc +7 svm I believe. The entrance spiders | ||||
