"No Macintosh support."
Why thank you. Your decision that I had to either buy a PC just for FFXI or spend the rest of my main character's life on a PS2 was so [censored] kind of you, SE.
If not for the fact that World of Warcraft is hideously unappealing (although running on Mac OS X) I might have been swayed to drop FFXI for it.
Please reconsider this slap in the face of the Macintosh population. Mac Play (a company that ports PC games to Macintosh) will tell you that there is a viable market. Perhaps you could drop them a line and get an estimate on the port?
In the meantime, PS2 is better that the "fun" I see my Windows brethren go through with things like anti-virus disconnects and inexplicable lagging that has to be resolved with a reboot.
2007 Premier Site Summit Write-ups
Our apologies for taking so long with these, but there was just so much information to remember. Hopefully between the two of us we've covered everything that was discussed in detail at the summit. We would like to say to Square Enix and the Community Relations team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your wonderful hospitality and information. We're certain that this summit, having opened up a more personal and friendly relationship, was a great success and a very meaningful step in the right direction for both the community and the game.
We had a great time and it was a lot of fun to get to know other people from the other Premier sites. Pictures are available in my write-up.
