Blade & Soul Closed Beta Coming This Autumn
NCSoft will host five beta testing weekends for the western release of Blade & Soul.
This morning, NCSoft announced that the Blade & Soul closed beta testing will begin on October 30th! A total of five beta weekends will occur, typically running from Fridays through Mondays, giving players around 20 days to help test both gameplay and performance of the game. The 2015 beta weekend schedule is available here.
“We are looking forward to putting Blade & Soul into players’ hands with our upcoming betas,” commented NCSoft Producer Nicolas Coutant. “Players are going to have a ton of fun with the game and given that our aim is to create the best gaming experience possible, we can’t wait to get more player feedback and implement it in the final stages of development ahead of launch.”
Blade & Soul will have its western release during the first quarter of 2016. Founder's Pack owners will have access to the upcoming closed beta weekends, but those wanting to apply for a chance at access can do so on the official site. The available language during first two beta weekends will be English-only, but the final three will include both French and German as well.
