Metal Gear Solid V Launches in September
Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain is set to release at the beginning of September.
Konami announced today the release date for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. For current and last-gen consoles, Phantom Pain will launch on September 1st later this year with the PC version of the game available through Steam two weeks later on September 15th.
Alongside the release date announcement, details on pricing and what players will receive in different versions of the game were also released. The Day1 edition is available on all platforms and comes with a special map (only in physical editions), in-game skins and an XP boost for the multiplayer aspect of the game. Day1 will cost $59.99 for current gen consoles and PC, but only $49.99 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. In addition to the Day1 edition, a special Collector's Edition will be available for the Xbox One and PS4 that will cost $99.99 and includes a half scale replica of Snake's bionic arm amongst a plethora of other physical and digital content.
