We share our pictures from the Year of EverQuest community event & SOE tour!

We were on-site at Sony Online Entertainment's community celebration last Friday, January 31. The Year of EverQuest has kicked off, celebrating EverQuest's 15th anniversary, EverQuest II's 10th anniversary, and the birth of EverQuest Next and EverQuest Next Landmark. Landmark launched into alpha testing for Explorer and Trailblazer level Founder's Packs that night and had its NDA drop the following day.

While we were at the event we captured some photos we think you will enjoy! Take a look!

Yeah i been hearing about the demise of Everquest ever since WoW came out. I have said before it will be around for years and it will be. Make sure you book mark this page. I know i will. We will see who is right. I won't have any problem reminding you how wrong you were come around next anniversary deadlaughb.

you know, if all the doomsday people would decide that EQ has shut down for them just because they want so badly for it too, then they can go predict some other game's demise and let us believers enjoy our game in peace.

it is so sad that we have to constantly hear from people like you who are so desperate to shut the game down. you wouldn't be a hopeful rival lurking around EQ forums and posts would you?

Ya know, for AllaK's 10th anniversary Kao got in the wayback machine and found a post almost identical to yours swearing that EQ was shutting down. Was about 6 month after launch :)

EQ still pays its bills, it'll be around a while.
