Square Enix announced a holiday sale which includes FFXIV:ARR.

Square Enix, Inc. announced today, December 20, that a number of Square Enix titles, both classic and recently released, will be available for up to 50% off. The sale will run until Sunday, January 5, 2014 while supplies last. This includes the following titles: Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Sleeping Dogs.
