Ubisoft responds to player demand with PC version of its modern apocalypse game

When The Division's gameplay was shown at E3—check out the video below—jaws lowered substantially. For me, however, my swinging chin turned quickly into a grimace when it was apparent the game was console only.

Thankfully, Ubisoft has announced that gamers have spoke and the studio has listened: The Division will be available on PC.

I know I'm delighted at the news.

The Division is part of the vanguard of next-gen co-op games that utilizes innovative server tech to bring in aspects of gameplay that MMO fans take for granted. Set in a devastated New York, The Division promises to be an enthralling experience and the fact it is coming to PC means it will be playable in the best way: with a mouse and keyboard.

Yeah, I said it.
