Twitch announce Turtle Beach as official audio partner
Twitch is doing quite nicely, thank you very much. In a press release recently, Twitch stated that it draws in over 34 million gamers who use the streaming video facility, with over 600,000 active streamers each month. With massive audiences for eSports events -- particularly for the League of Legends tournaments that are beginning to look like indie-Superbowls -- it's no surprise when a promotional partnership is announced.
On this occasion, it is Turtle Beach who is becoming the "official audio partner" with Twitch on its dedicated eSports and general gaming events.
What this essentially means is you will be seeing a lot of Turtle Beach headsets when watching your favorite eSports teams in action, including the ridiculously shiny XP Seven.
Saucy.
To mere mortals like you and me, the XP Seven costs $279.99 USD. Excuse me while I accidentally drop my current headset into the sink and talk to my wife about the need for a serious upgrade.
