GDC 2013 Education Summit Adds 3 More Talks

Featuring more insight than ever

Game Developers Conference 2013 has just added three more talks to the line up for their Education Summit, including a Professor Deathmatch, of sorts.

The first is Sam Roberts of IndieCade fame, talking about formal elements of game design using tabletop RPGs in 'Catacombs and Curriculum: Role-Playing Games for Teaching Design." Four panelists (all named behind the link) will discuss ways that those in commercial and academic gaming education and development would benefit from active cooperation in 'Beyond the Dialogue: Perspectives on Industry and Academia.'

Lastly, 'Game Design Curriculum Deathmatch' has four speakers giving three minute presentations on aspects of their courses, and each will justify their approaches to win an audience's favor.

If you're going to GDC 2013, it's shaping up to be quite a show.
