EA at Gamescom Confirms New Operation, Warzone and Flying Missions

In an EA press conference this morning - still on going at time of publishing - Matthew Bromberg, new head of BioWare Austin, confirmed a number of new changes for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

To begin with, Challenge of the Chevin, the new SWTOR live event, will be launched today.

Bromberg went on to say that "next month," SWTOR would be seeing additions including:

• Terror from Beyond - a new Operation on Belsavis.
• Ancient Hypergate - a new PvP Warzone
• New Flying Missions - aimed at level 50 players

There was also a sneak peek at a new live action trailer for the next phase in SWTOR as the Free to Play change draws nearer.

The video saw people donning trooper armor, bounty hunter blasters and Sith or Jedi lightsabers to go rampaging through modern day streets to meet in a running battle. I have to say, it was rather cool.
