BlizzCon 2011 kicks off tomorrow, but it really starts tonight, Oct. 20! The BlizzCon 2011 Wowhead and WoW Insider party, livecasted by Gamebreaker.tv, begins at 5 p.m. Pacific at the Anabella Hotel patio. If you'll be in the area, you should definitely stop by! If you can't make it to California tonight, then you can watch the festivities from the comfort of your computer chair.
Click here to watch GameBreaker's live stream beginning at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT!
There will be a ton of guests at the party, including Felicia Day and the cast of The Guild! We're also giving out a bunch of prizes. Want to know more? Then check out all the details after the jump!
Our party's got the lock down on awesome people in attendance. Some of our guests include:
-
The awesome cast from the webseries The Guild and their creator and star, Felicia Day!
-
Members from popular World of Warcraft community sites, such as TankSpot and WoW Interface.
-
Our co-hosts, WoW Insider, are showing up--so are many of the Gamebreaker TV crew, such as Gary Gannon and Mike B!
-
Other special guests we have confirmed include Amy Brady of the Frag Dolls, actress Michele Morrow, machinimator extraordinaire Oxhorn, and more.
The best part? A lot of these guests will be sharing the microphone with our hosts of the evening, WoW Insider's Mat McCurley and Fox Van Allen. You will also get a chance to meet many of our guests at a special meet-and-greet area at the party; for those who aren't attending, they will be dropping by the livestream as well for exclusive interviews!
We've also got some really cool prizes:
-
Our good friends at Cryptozoic are coming with 1,500 booster packs from the WoW TCG.
-
Guild hosting site Enjin has 1,500 vouchers for two months of premium service to give away.
-
There are even more prizes coming as well, from Steelseries, AstroGaming, Cooler Master Storm gaming mice, and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.
-
There's also loot from Dungeons & Dragons thanks to Wizards of the Coast! They're donating three full sets of Magic: The Gathering foil M12 cards in limited edition boxes as well. Handing out many of these prizes will be the lovely ladies of the Apotheosis Agency.
If that wasn't enough for you, Monster Energy is covering non-alcoholic drinks for the whole party. Looking for something a bit stronger? Alliance- and Horde-themed cocktails await your pleasure, if you are 21 or over. Wristbands will be handed out at the door after your valid I.D. is checked. If you don't have a valid I.D., you can still come in--but no booze for you!
We're extremely excited about this party and we hope you are too. Unfortunately, we know there will be some of you that can't make it. Don't worry, though, you can still show up! Gamebreaker.tv will be livecasting the meetup with Gary Gannon, Josh Allen (aka Lore), and Mike B. with WoW Insider's Mike Sacco and Anne Stickney. They will have exclusive interviews with many of the VIP guests and provide commentary on the event as it unfolds. The livestream will be simulcast on WoW Insider, Wowhead, and Gamebreaker's site. If you're on the go, you can follow it on your mobile phone using the Justin.tv app.
What more needs to be said? Let's get this party started!
