Most Systems Need to be Cleaned, and Updated .

As a computer Support Technician, I believe alot of these issue that people are writing about. IE Crashes and Frame Rate, comes down to dirty software installation, and out of date drivers.

Updating drivers is a good starting point, removing un-used and un-wanted programs is another good one. Regular systems maintance, Scan Disk, Defrag, Anti-Malware, Driver updates, and software updates like Windows.

A clean systems will last longer, and you will be alot happier with the results.

Crashing & Frame Rate

About a month ago I had the game crash a couple times and was having some frame rate problems. I uninstalled the game, cleared all my video drivers. I reinstalled new video drivers and then the game. Runs better than it ever has. I had similiar issues with Unreal Tournament that were solved the same way about a year ago.

Think some times it's good to clear out the crap and start over.
Crashes?

I haven't had the game crash since installing it the week after it was released. I've had connectivity issues but those are often on the end of my ISP and not the game.

Running a Amd XP 2100, 2.5 gigs of ram, ATI 9700 all in wonder, sb platnium 5.1.
