SOE is enticing players back to Star Wars Galaxies with Indiana Jones' prize possessions.

Sony Online Entertainment is inviting players back to Star Wars Galaxies and offering them a special gift: the fedora and whip of Indiana Jones! Players who left the game in good standing between Jan. 1, 2008 and Sept. 15, 2010 will have their accounts activated once again until Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Now let's get back to the whip and fedora. If you log back in by Nov. 30 at 4 a.m. PST, you'll earn these items for your in-game house. If you convert your account back into a paying subscription and log in before Dec. 31 at 11:59 p.m., the items will become wearable clothing!

If you're a Star Wars fan, it's safe to say you're an Indiana Jones fan. Will you be logging back into SWG to get Indy's prize possessions?

i must agree with your comments, as for myself after reading about the gifts i have begun to clear out some of my toons and have huge sales ingame. i intend to close my accounts in the new year after playing for over 7 years on one account and 5 on my second. This game has died and with all the updates coming out it just seems to me that they are putting more nails in the swg coffin..

Are you kidding me! What would a Star Wars fan want with a Fadora and whip. It is really sad when the team thinks items from another movie are going to draw folks back to Star Wars. If they were really serious about keeping customers they should develop serious story lines for the level 90 characters so they can run solo and move away from the group quests that can never be completed for lack of opportunity or at the very least open up the rare items related to SWG and make them more easily obtainable.

So why am i still here. I am beginning to wonder myself. A fadora and whip? OMG.
