Blizzard just posted the Cataclysm cinematic intro and the new TV spot for the expansion on the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel! You can watch them both after the jump.

So what do you think? How does the Cataclysm cinematic compare to the ones for the original game, The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King?

Watching this trailer makes me even more excited for Cataclysm. I think Cataclysm will be the best expansion yet, they are hitting on everything that needs to be improved and adding new things to make a totally different game.

To those who complain about features:

1.) It's a cinematic, not a gameplay trailer.
2.) It's freaking awesome.
3.) Don't complain it's not 30 minutes long..it had to fit in a commercial time slot on live television.

Now for me:

I think it is awesome, and Deathwing couldn't look more fierce. Now if only they made a movie...

It is a cinematic intro to the game not a preview of Cataclysm. The WotLK equivilent is where King Terenas speaks while the Lich King shatters the glacier and frees the Frost Queen dragon.
