Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures is Live
SOE launches free-to-play family-friendly game for young Star Wars fans.
Sony Online Entertainment, the creative force behind the popular Free Realms kid-friendy MMO, announced today that Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures is now live! Like Free Realms, this Star Wars game is free-to-play, browser-based, and fun for the whole family.
The game is set in the universe of the Clone Wars animated TV series on Cartoon Network and features characters such as Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda and Ahsoka Tano. Want more details? Keep reading below!
Clone Wars Adventures is full of minigames, from Droid Programming to Speeder Bike Racing. You can even throw a party in your own player house and show off your achievements in your trophy room!
As we've mentioned, this game is kid-friendly. Parental controls allow for the customization of safety options, including playtime settings. Players can also communicate using safe chat and emoticons.
While the game is free-to-play, players can also purchase a monthly Jedi Membership subscription for $5.99. Of course, all sorts of in-game items will be available for purchase using SOE's Station Cash virtual currency.
While you can play Clone Wars Adventures now in your browser, a retail package is scheduled to be available at thousands of locations in North America later this fall. It will include a 90-day membership, 500 Station Cash, the ability to unlock the Togruta playable character, a Yoda monitor topper, and more.
