ZAM is having a giveaway to celebrate the end of the world (or at least the end of Azeroth as we know it) and we’re giving away fifty chances to experience that post-dragonkissed world before anyone else.

How to Win
We have a thread in the General WoW forums for the contest entries. All you have to do is post a response in the thread that states what you’re the most excited about in the new World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion. For example:

  • Playing as a Worgen.
  • All the new changes to old Azeroth. I can’t wait to see what it looks like!
  • The new talent changes. My class is going to be OP. QQ moar newbs.

We’ll be collecting entries for the next seven days, and on Monday August 2nd, 2010, we’ll be announcing all fifty winners of the giveaway and we’ll then send you your beta key for Cataclysm! It really is that simple. Just submit the part of Cataclysm you’re most excited about, and you're golden!

 

Please Note: You must enter your contest submission at the designated forum thread. Any comments on this article will not be counted as submissions.

 

Additional Note: Both Tankspot and Wowhead will be having their own beta key giveaways in the next few weeks, so make sure you check out our entire network family for all of your chances to win!

++ If you're an AddOn author WoWInterface has almost an unlimited number of keys to give away.

Rules and Qualifications

  • In order to use the beta key, you must have a WoW account in good standing.
  • Posts in the contest thread that are not contest submissions will be deleted.
  • Users may enter more than one Cataclysm item that they’re excited about, but only one entry will be counted per user.
  • We reserve the right to remove entries if we feel like you're not properly participating in the contest.
  • The contest begins on July 26th, and all winners will be announced on August 2nd, 2010.
  • The fifty (50) key winners will be drawn from the pool of eligible posters at the end of the entry period.

- Looking forward to the new, and awesome epicly destroyed Azeroth.

- The Damn new races ofcourse! , goblins are cute :3 and Worgens are furry ;D

- The new talent system. It so brings back they 'old WoW !

- Totally flying in azeroth. i mean? 100% mounts are so pre TBC :D

- The new city's to explore, ill be asking alot to the guards :D

- Definetly archeology. it feels like exploring WoW under-ground

- The NEW GUILD SYSTEM! *WOOH* , it'll greatly increase the fun of WoW being in a guild and lvl it together

- as last, MOAR WoW! :D

i am looking forward to almost everything about the expansion.
but mostly i am looking forward to is the lvl cap and the new raid contant along with new gear and dungeons with new places to explore.
Also there is the 2 new races i would like to try out.

Im looking forward to all the new content. Raids Loot and the great looking new zones. i would love to be able to get a taste of the beta so when the game comes out i can jump right in and move right along with the raids and so forth.

Im super excited about playing as a Goblin and experiencing the new world, doing all the new quests, seeing all the changed zones and all the new zones. Plus getting some of the awesome new mounts.


If i don't receive a beta ill kill all the gnomes in Azeroth :)

For me, a few things stand out as being extremely important in the new expansion.

1) i HAVE to start an all worgen guild call "DIE TEAM EDWARD! LOL" we will run the blood wing of icecrown citadel every week whilst yelling "AHAHHA WE ARE THE BETTER MYTHICAL RACE OF SUPER-HUMANS" in trade chat. Followed by us proceeding to take our in-game shirts off. (you can take your shirt off IRL as well if you like) and /flirting with the dead body of the Blood Queen Lana'thel.

2) PvP'ing the crap out of every moving thing with my hunters new aspect of the fox. running AND casting steady shot?! many people will die by my hand. ESPECIALLY lowbies in the new gnome area. I LIVE for punting gnomes.

and finally... 3) Making an array of alts with all the new class/race combinations. OMG tauren paladins!? Dwarf Shamans?!... undead hunters... (soo cool). by the way, i must state that in all the time i have played world of warcraft (four years), i have NEVER made a gnome... maybe i can be tempted this time :P

if i get magically lucky and do get picked for the beta test. the first thing ill do is go round all the new places and test the maps! im going to try and get on top of everything :P I LOVE finding glitches and bugs :D

What I am looking forward to is the rated BG and not really needing an Arena team my schedule never allowed me to really hold an arena team, also flying in the old world I very much look forward to diving down on Alli and taking them out aswell as over Alli cities. DEATH FROM ABOVE! will be fun :]

Omg where to start !

I want everything, the new ravaged Azeroth that will make it fun to level new chars again, water mounts.. Uhh Archeology cant wait ! Really wanna get that start asap, and ofc the Path of the Titans !..

But wow flying mounts in Azeroth, woot ! gief naow ! Can't wait, and the new major cities are gonna be epic, and the new water! I dont think that there is one thing in Cata that i aint looking forward to !

I am most definetly looking forward to exploring all of the zones and to see what is going to happen to all the zones and see all the new ones that they are making. I also am looking for war too playing as the new races and there beginning quests. I think i am gonig to enjoy the goblins the most. And i would love to see the new quest chains in the new zones and old ones.

The changes to mah class! QQ moar newbcakes! Hah. But no seriously and its been said before I'm sure, but I'm most looking forward to rolling a Worgen. I'm so looking forward to the Worgen race that I'm rerolling my Death Knight, Hunter, and Warrior into Worgen as well as planning a new Worgen rogue as well.

I can't wait to level one up and see Darius Crowley Brofist cleave his way through Feral Worgen and masses of Undead and bask in his awesomeness for a while. I can't wait to experience the first time my Gilnean wolf's out (Teen Wolf reference baby!) and heads down to the old Gym to play some Basketball, I mean heads down to the battlefield to rip up some undead. I can't wait to run around as a huge, feral, beastial, brutal werewolf ripping undead apart in revenge for their invasion of my homeland.

In short, I can't wait for Azeroth to answer the call of the Worgen howling at the moon as they run rampant across Silverpine forest and claim their revenge on the horrible Forsaken for their transgression against Gilneas.

I'm looking forward to see even more history. I've played wow since vanilla and I try to embrace every expansion pack, but wotlk was a little hard for me, but I see cataclysm is exacly what I think wow needs, it's time for an epic adventure, lore and raids! Finally a new dragon we're gonna slay! Cannot wait : )

cant wait to get to lvl60 with one and get an ENOURMUS raptor :D
Also i am craving to see all the changes especially Stormwind which should have some massive changes, and to not forgot to see worgen and goblin starting areas and to explore their race features! its gonna be the best update EVER!! hope it will come soon...:D
Oh! i forgot how excited i am to see the dungeons! Shadowfang Keep and Deadmines on HC!! WOW!! its gonna be awesome!

As a player of over 5 years I look forward to returning home to Azeroth! Over the past few years I have seen other worlds and the chill of the Lich King's Throne.

I look forward to the new races and the changes to the old zones. Especially the new water effects! So ready to see all the changes I can barely stand it.

Mainly as I mentioned at first. I have been homesick for Azeroth and miss Stormwind and Ironforge being the central hub for players to socialize.

What I'm looking forward to is Gamon. That's right! Hopefully he gets an upgrade and runs around randomly one hitting everyone who killed and looted him, and yells or laughs at you after he hits ya for over 9000.

I want my trolls to have their own city and the old rivalry of the horde and alliance come back to life which is going to be awesome.

And the rockets you can drive in azshara cant wait to wipe out.

I can't wait to try out the new leveling zones and worgen because worgen look so cool! I never really liked the Barrens but in cataclysm i would like to try it because it's split in half and looks interesting.
