How to Win
We have a thread in the General WoW forums for the contest entries. All you have to do is post a response in the thread that states what you’re the most excited about in the new World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion. For example:

Playing as a Worgen.
All the new changes to old Azeroth. I can’t wait to see what it looks like!
The new talent changes. My class is going to be OP. QQ moar newbs.

We’ll be collecting entries for the next seven days, and on Monday August 2nd, 2010, we’ll be announcing all fifty winners of the giveaway and we’ll then send you your beta key for Cataclysm! It really is that simple. Just submit the part of Cataclysm you’re most excited about, and you're golden!

Please Note: You must enter your contest submission at the designated forum thread. Any comments on this article will not be counted as submissions.

Additional Note: Both Tankspot and Wowhead will be having their own beta key giveaways in the next few weeks, so make sure you check out our entire network family for all of your chances to win!

++ If you're an AddOn author WoWInterface has almost an unlimited number of keys to give away.

Rules and Qualifications

In order to use the beta key, you must have a WoW account in good standing.
Posts in the contest thread that are not contest submissions will be deleted.
Users may enter more than one Cataclysm item that they’re excited about, but only one entry will be counted per user.
We reserve the right to remove entries if we feel like you're not properly participating in the contest.
The contest begins on July 26th, and all winners will be announced on August 2nd, 2010.
The fifty (50) key winners will be drawn from the pool of eligible posters at the end of the entry period.

im playing this game since half of tbc. I learned much of it since then. I studyied lore, owned player, killed villains, enjoyed every minute of it.
I played both horde and aliance, and i know nor of them is evil.

The things i see forward to in Cataclysm are the locations never seen before - Like Uldum (What is in it? What is the "superweapon"? is it good or bad? And also, i want to discover the Tol'Vir lore)
The new races - Worgens (always wanted to know more about them. Savage look but gentle heart of Gilnean. I would roll a warrior, maybe just because i never played one :D)and the Goblins (because they are simply awesome. Who else could have builded modern city, ride in a car and blow up everything, even isles? Yes, i am watching videos from beta, and i can't wait to play it.)
The new world - World in war. Alliance got reinforced in wotlk, when Varian came. Now the Garrosh leads the horde, and so the war is beginning. I don't say its a good thing - but it's interesting.
Raids - Im a PVE player, and i cannot wait to kick Deathwing's ***.
And the most awesome feeling, that i haven't feel since it was anounced on blizzcon.

Hey!
I am really pshyced about Cataclysm because this is the first expansion that will majorly overhaul Azeroth as we know it. There will be more quest synergy and a lot of changes to existing zones. Zones that I've been wandering around in since release of Vanilla. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all turns out, how the quests (and rewards) gets redone and perfected with all the new types of quests they have since the launch of Vanilla.
In my time of playing WoW I've lvled many alts and it will be lovely to see new quests and experience the game all over again, especially now that they are actively using phasing, I can now feel like what I do actually matters and aint just some random quest, when I complete quests the world as I percieve it will actually change!

There are so many things to look forward to in this expansion;
- New and redone quests
- Redone zones
- Guild Perks
- Completly redone talents
- Underwater zones and mounts
- More lore character's being put in to the game, either as friend or foe. Just imagine fighting along side Neptulon the Tidehunter!
- Two awesome new races and incredible starting zones! (Wether your horde or alliance you just have to try both the new races just to experience the new starting zones, seen some movies and they look awesome!)
- More amazing lore! Just take Garrosh and Vol'jin for example, or Sylvanas during the Worgen starting zone!
- New achievements to earn, more titles to aquire, epic bosses to chop-chop!

There isn't anything in particular that I can point out that doesn't excite me about Cataclysm, it's all so overwhelming and incredible!

I'm looking forward to play goblin with my Dutch mates. I love the goblin and I've always loved their way to interract with people "Time is Money".
I can't wait for Cataclysm and I participated in the BlizzCon 2009.
To have an advantage over people when it comes out for real is always something! "First Goblin 80!". I've played WCII and that's where my journey started in Warcraft. I met Death Wing, and I'm amazed that Death Wing is comming in this expansion. Aswell as they made quest to know the LK more, then I'm looking forward to see quests for Death Wing so the characters can get him more to know.

Warcraft lore has always been my favorite part of the gaming universe, from the Warcraft 3 cinematics to the lich kings fall. In this expansion I am most looking forward to the new quests, vol'jin's encounters with garrosh, lorderon becoming explorable, and the new zones. This expansion is definitely a change for the better. =3

Iv been playing wow since beta in the original version. Even when taurens had plainstriding instead of mounts lol. Iv been waiting till the old world was remade and some of the old dungeons revamped. Especially the hyjal zone that we have seen but never crossed into :)

Iv never gotten over how amazing and how much fun vanilla wow was and im so excited for the chance to go back and revisit old and new content in azeroth.

For the person commenting they've looked for years for a video game in which they could play a werewolf: The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon was released well over a year before 'vanilla' WoW even came out.

I can't wait to see cataclysm and try the rogues , change of the world / quests classes and spells and the most ROGUES i just wanna try the rogues and see are they like in wotlk so i can just go on the akrios's site and just say THEY ARE FIXED GET BACK TO WOW and stuff so other guys can come :D

As i have played WoW for several years, it grew more and more boring, but cataclysm seems good and i cant wait for it to come out.. I still lvl in WoW, i still do instances and that stuff but i want it to be refreshed! Catclysm does that, i want to help blizzard improving it, i will redo all races two times at least and check for bugs and quickly report them to blizzard. I want to help them, if i dont get it then i just wait, if i get it, i will immediately start to help blizzard improving the game for those that didnt get the beta keys.. would be cool if all could get them but that would be too much sadly.. Please consider giving me a beta key, thanks for reading this. :)

I cant wait for cat to come out talent rebuild.new moves, re edited area's making leveling fun to do again.new raid content, all new battle grounds cant wait to bust people up with my mage with there new blood lust.the new arena's. flying mounts in azeroth,no neutral zone and the new prof.Really cant wait to get my hands on this game pre order the limited edition at game stop. game stop told me there will be mount code in limited box. so excited

When Cataclysm was announced.. it made me remember Upper Blackrock Spire and Blackwing Lair, both good times! I'm looking forward to every single change in Catalcysm, some more then others obviously.

Most interest goes to playing goblin! From the moment I saw a goblin in game I wanted to play it as a race, and now it's actually possible!!

I can't wait to play the new expansion for several reasons, one of which it is going to be like a whole new game with tons of new areas to explore all over again, the new dungeons and personally I can't wait to check out the Worgens. I am excited about the class and race mixing will be fun in multiple variations. All in all, pretty much everything about the new expansion sounds enticing, Im stoked!!

Well I tried telling most of you this is NOT the thread and all your speaches here are going to waste. The link to the proper thread IS litteraly highlighted in BLUE or YELLOW in the "please note:" portion of the rules in bold print.

After this post im just gonna stop caring for ppl who refuse to read all of the rules and or ignore what im typing, and just cross my fingers for a beta key now.

Dude you dont know how long i have been wanting this expansion to come out NOW! The thing im MOST exited about is the new way you can explor the world on your flying mount in azeroth. I play a prot warrior and i cant wait till i can get my new move heroic leap. Its amazing that all the places i quested and leveled in are gonna change. I saw some of teh beta and I WAS LIKE OMGG!!! its going to be so amazing. Since im now siding with the horde the new classes that i would make would have to be as i call it "The Hordes Gnomes"- The goblins. I also like how they are making the trimmed talent trees so that we have mor variety to put our talents into different trees instead of primarily stickin to JUST ONE.The PvP looks amazing as well. But overall cataclysm looks like it is going to be the best expansion released by blizzard yet!

I would love to play the new race worgen. I want to see the area where they start and all the new changes. I also want to see all the changes such as the destruction that deathwing has brought about. I want to see all the new zones and what the new content contains. I also want to take part in the ability to sort out some of the bugs along the way. Blizzard has done a great job with everything so far and i would love to experience it first hand.

i am really looking forward all the noobs lvl 13 screaming in org "omg i ve choosen demonology tree why i cant have improved corruption???" and also i m sure i will PEWPEWPWN everything with my lock and rogue due to talent changes. cant wait to /laugh on everyone!

Hello, i play WOW from begining and i love the changes in Cataclysm its so many!
I have 80 lvls : Warrior, Rogue, Druid , Paladin , Shaman ,Warlock, DK, and Mage... i love this game so much!
I want to play the Beta beacause new zones, new races, new dungeons and new talants.
I am BIG fan to ALL BLIZZARD games : i play WOW, Diablo 2 and ofc SC 2
