Like many earlier posters have said there are so many things to look forward to. But to name a few:

- Explore azeroth from the air, gonna be amazing to revisit all the old locations

- Same loot in 10 man and 25 man raids, which is perfect as Im in a small guild

- New race/class combinations, cant wait to lvl up a gnome priest

- New talents and the new masterysystem, and archeology all sounds like interesting ways to change the game

- And last but not least new races, both worgen and goblins looks amazing

I'm really looking forward to most of the pvp content in cataclysm, each expansion you've gotta adapt to new abilities combinations in arena, and new battlegrounds, i love the idea of rated battlegrounds, kinda brings back the pvp concept from vanilla.

I'm most excited about
- New areas
- The new guild system
- Disc priest group barrier
- the stat changes

For me besides the obviouse content changes that everyone is posting about, is the fact that 10-man raiders will no longer be 2nd tier raiders. I love the idea that i can raid in 10-mans and get the same gear that 25-mans can get. This change is huge for me because i have very little time to be in a hardcore raiding guild. Don't get me wrong, leveling will again be fresh and new. Casting on the move with my shaman and putting up a wall of fog with my mage sounds sweet. The changes to raids is the one thing i can't wait for.

Despite the obvious:
New talents
New areas
Flying in azeroth
New raids and instances etc etc, the one thing I'm looking forward the most to is:

Getting all my friends to make goblins, level them to 40 and have a go-kart-race!

I just can't wait to learn more about the Worgen's story, how they turned like that! And also to see the battle versus the Forsaken.I wanna also play as a Rogue Goblin,it'l be fun to see the first small race of the Horde.Hehehe,And as i heard we'l be able to fly in Azeroth!Something that makes me very happy is the change of the Water's graphics, they look more realistic!I've been watching many videos about WoW Cataclysm and i'l hope i'l have a chance to experience the mighty Holy Cows! *Tauren Paladin :)*.Everyone, have fun flying in Azeroth, and fighting Deathwing!

I'm looking forward to see what the deal with the warrior is as tanking.Since they are going to be nerfed I wanted to see if it would better to level a druid or a palad since they block more and reduce more damage taken... I also want to ride around in a rocket car!
-The new 31 talent point trees could be good.. or bad That Is another thing I want to see.
-And that a palad with get crusader strike at level 1
-Hunters get pets at level 1
Those are somethings I want to figaure out and see.
Also want to fly around org w/ a 310% flying mount.
I believe I can fly
# Jul 31 2010 at 7:09 AM Rating: Decent
-Flying everywhere
-Talent changes
-Achievement changes
-The world we thought we knew is gonna change :O
-New quests, I really want to go questing again!
-New raids, we have a group that has done dedicated insanity and earth, wind and fire realm firsts so we're so waiting for 10man raids and I heard 25 and 10 share saves and loots and that's just a plus.
-About the new classes I think my choice will be goblins, cause I'm already playing horde and it would be a whole new beginning to make a worgen (ofc it must be tried, but not leveled that far).
-If I get a betakey, which I really doubt, I'm going to: Do every single new quest I'm able to. Explore every place again in flying point of view I'm able (Really waiting for Hyjal). Don't think I'm able to get into any instance cause my friends have no beta keys, and I can't even imagine doing something new without them.
-I'm playing a shaman and that class is getting some pretty cool new things, can't wait to see them.

How do I delete this from here?

Hopefully optimistic for Cata.

Initially I was most excited about seeing the changes to the old world. But sandboxes have satisfied me on that account. On live I am certain I will be excited about finally valid 10man raiding and guild perks. But in playing the beta I guess I am most excited about doing what I have done in the TBC and WotLK beta. No, I don't mean reporting spelling errors in quest texts, though gods know I'll be doing that once again. I mean experiencing the new gameplay of my latest main class, that is paladins. And it seems pretty apparent that with the new mechanics the class has greater potential than ever yet is also in dire need of testers and beta posters who are not interested in whining. I was convinced that I would be retiring my paladin in Cata until Holy Power changes were announced; the class felt stale and boring, doomed to remain the one class everyone ridiculed as easymode. Yet the past few weeks have completely revised that stance. Retribution seems likely to have one of the most complex melee rotations and holy will finally be more than a one-trick pony. I am still skeptical of protection but I have high hopes and plenty of querries and ideas that I hope I'll get a chance to share with other testers at the Cataclysm beta forums and through actual testing ingame.
My cataclysm picks.

I'm extremely excited to try out the classes who are receiving resource overhauls, paladin holy power, the new warlock soulshards, the changes to balance druids via lunar and solar power, and finally hunters and their switch from mana to focus.

As well I'm very interested to see how the stance blizzard has taken on making epics feel "epic" again plays out, much more emphasis on blue gear until you've earned your epics should take away a lot of this "catering to casuals" philosophy a lot of more hardcore players feel blizzard has adopted.

The new talent and mastery system also interests me a lot, I love this new idea of choosing a specialization before spending your talent points, and locking you into your specialization until you've spent enough points in your given tree. I feel this will give newer players and old players a like, a more epic, and focused feel to the game, being a fury warrior doesn't really feel like much when all you got before was 5% crit, some AP from armor, and further range and duration on your shouts for the first 30 levels.

Last, but most definitely not least, I'm stoked to see the new races leveling content. From what I've seen the scripted story line of the Worgen leveling zone is incredibly well done, and has had a lot of work put into it. I've always loved when blizzard gets the storytelling aspect of this game spot on, like with the Wrathgate, and Lich King cinematics and pretext. Also the Goblin starting zone, with its interesting use of game mechanics, and much more "open world" style of quest direction, a long with an early introduction to assisted modes of transportation via the rocket car, should prove to be interesting when starting a new character.

In closing I'd like to say that with 9 80's, all in somewhat respectable gear, I've gotten somewhat bored waiting for the expansion, and a beta key would most deffinitly be put to good use in my hands. I have an extensive knowledge of all classes in PvE and PvP and would absolutely love an opportunity to test out the new exciting changes to the game, and contribute my own feedback in yet another world of warcraft beta. I've been playing for 6 years now, day one, and feel I have a pretty solid opinion on the game, and that I could contribute a lot to the beta.

Either way, thank's a lot, Fancyhats - Illidan.
Looking Forward too

so many things to look for. but what I really am dying for is how 10man loot and 25m loots are the same. so that our small guild can progress without going to 25pugs and such :)

I know it be the best Expansion for WOW in a long time. I want to see what Everyone gets to enjoy in closed beta and tired of looking at Youtube videos when I want to experience them myself and find all new achievements questing new dungeons. Explorer the new Areas. Deathwing sounds so awesome. i've been With Blizzard Since Day one with there First Warcraft, then Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3 and Frozen throne.
