TwelveSky 2 may be a free-to-play MMO, but MAYN Interactive has set up three promotional events where participants can compete in PvP battles for portions of a $20,000 prize pool.

Two of these contests kick off today and run through Sept. 1. The first is for veteran warriors who have registered their accounts before today and requires players to earn Contribution Points through PvP battles. Five first-prize winners will get $250 in Mokens and a T-shirt. The second contest is a leveling event for new warriors who register after the start date. The five players who gain the most levels with earn $200 in Mokens and a T-shirt.

A PvP battle arena event will be held from Sept. 1-14. Teams must register between Aug. 21-28 for the single-elimination tournament. Up to eight iPod Touches will be offered to the winning teams. You can read the full list of available prizes from all three events after the jump.

Veteran Warriors CP Event 

Start Date: 18 August 2009, 1000hrs GMT (After Server Maintenance Period)

End Date: 1 September 2009, 0700hrs GMT (Until Server Maintenance Period) 

This server-wide event is eligible to all players who registered their accounts before the event start date. Players who gain the most Contribution Points (CPs) during this period stand to win over US$6000 in prizes. Contribution Points are primarily gained through fighting Player vs Player (PvP) battles, and this event will help turn the already exciting PvP aspect of Twelve Sky 2 into a complete slaughter-fest. The top 50 CP gainers will stand to win: 

• First Prize: 5x US$250 in Cash Items
• Second Prize: 15x US$150 in Cash Items
• Third Prize: 30x US$100 in Cash Items

New Warriors Leveling Event 

Start Date: 18 August 2009, 1000hrs GMT (After Server Maintenance Period)

End Date: 1 September 2009, 0700hrs GMT (Until Server Maintenance Period) 

Running concurrently with Veteran Warriors CP Event, we have organized a New Warriors Leveling Event so that new players will not feel left out. Only players who have registered after the event start date will be eligible for this event. The top 50 level gainers will stand to win: 

• First Prize: 5x US$200 in Cash Items
• Second Prize: 15x US$100 in Cash Items
• Third Prize: 30x US$50 in Cash Items

PvP Battle Arena Event 

Start Date: 1 September 2009

End Date: 14 September 2009 

Starting in September, we will be conducting daily arena-style team PvP battles. Our team registration period will be open from 21 to 28 August 2009 for all players at Level 70 and above. Teams divided between two brackets will compete in a single-elimination tournament.  

Up to 8x IPod Touch and many other attractive prizes will be given out to the top teams for this event.
