Its a festival of fun over on the Gaheris server this weekend, check out the planned events :

After the overwhelming support for the Play on Gaheris weekends and all the wonderful new players that have come to play on Gaheris. Aquilonia and Marrian are hosting a Play on Gaheris Week from July 20th - 27th . They will be hosting a week full of fun, games and of course RAIDS!

Who: Everyone, Veterans and New Players!
What: Come see what Gaheris has to offer and the uniqueness of the PvE server. Enjoy raiding areas that you haven't visited in years.
Where: Gaheris (PvE Server)
When: A week long event that begins July 20th and runs until July 27th
Why: To see the game from a fresh point of view, and just have a good time.
How: Load up Dark Ages and either start a new character, dust off a character you forgot about, or play with ones already on Gaheris.

The events are planned for new and veteran players to the Gaheris Server. We will be hosting different events every night of the week for all levels of players. New players are encouraged to come on over and roll characters anytime between now and then; contact any member of Blue Knights to get ahold of Amy or Marrian to get Aurulite to get you started. All times are Eastern.

Sunday July 20th - This is our kickoff day of events!

Darkness Falls Royalty Raid

1pm - Trilogist will have his BG up meeting at the Hibernian Cambions. He's planning to pull the mobs here to try to get Lillith to spawn.

2pm - The BG will move out to visit the DF Royalty - Prince, Princess and Legion. Loot will be rolled on at the end near the Portal out.

Welcome To Gaheris

7pm - Just like we did last time, we will be offering "Welcome to Gaheris" packages to people making new characters. There will be people stationed in the Capital Cities as well as at Vetusta Abbey, where the Scavenger Hunt will kick off.

Scavenger Hunt

7pm - How much do you really know about DAoC? Gather a team of 4 players (any level range), and take the Play on Gaheris Week Scavenger Hunt Challenge. Sign ups will begin on July 16th on the Gaheris VN Boards. All teams must be signed up by 7pm July 20th when the list is released. At least 1 member of each team must be represented at Vetusta Abbey when the list is released. Each team will have until 7pm on July 25th to gather the 20 items on the list. The items will range anywhere from low level to level 50+ to get it. The members of the top 3 teams will have a choice from items that have been donated to the Play on Gaheris Week, as well as the top team will split 10Plat. We will meet once again at Vetusta Abbey, this time all 4 team members MUST be present. The teams will place the items in a trade window to prove that they have gotten them, but they will keep the items. I do ask that you farm and or get the items yourself, and to not buy them off of the CM.

Lowbies Taking over Darkness Falls

7:30pm - We had so much fun with this last time! The BG will open up at 7:30pm; we will move from the Hib entrance at 8pm. Load up any level character and join us for a fun filled evening of taking over Darkness Falls. We will need a few 50s to help keep us alive so we can explore, otherwise bring any character and join us in the fun. Should be an exciting way to kick of the Play on Gaheris Week!

Monday July 21st

Dragon Raid

7pm - Elbizzle will be meeting at Dartmoor to start a 3 Dragon Raid. As always it will be Alb, Hib, Mid for the order on these. We will be doing as many dragons as possible ending at 10:30 for loot. Loot will be rolled on following the raid.

Tuesday July 22nd

Mystic Mike's Relic Raid

2pm - Mike will be meeting in Emain to go take on the 3 Power Relics and Lord Agramon. Loot will follow, so come on out for an afternoon of fun!

3 Princes & Adolescent Raid

7pm - I know a lot of people have been trying to get these quests done, so BG will open up at 7pm in Dartmoor, and we will move out at 7:30pm. We will start with Moran and let everyone turn that in then begin on the Adolescents. We will rinse and repeat for the other 2 realms, in hopes to get a full circuit of them done so to get everyone their armor. Loot will be rolled on following the raid.

Wednesday July 23rd

Duels and more Duels!

6pm - Think you have what it takes to rein supreme in Dueling? Sign ups for Duels will begin on July 16th; all signups must be in by July 20th so that brackets can be set up. We will be breaking groups out by Realm Rank so please include class and Realm Rank when you sign up. It will be an elimination style duel with one winner for each division as well as the winners of each will battle it out for the overall winner. Please see the thread on the Gaheris VN Boards for more information on the duels. All duels will take place in Gothwaite Harbor.

Megaladon Raid

8pm - Trilogist will be forming up at Emain for a fishing expedition into the Irish Sea to visit Megaladon. Loot will be rolled on following raid.

Thursday July 24th

Mystic Mike's Relic Raid

2pm - Mike will be meeting at Emain to go take on the 3 Strength Relics and Lord Agramon. Loot will follow come on out for an afternoon of fun!

Marrian's ventures into the Dragon Zones!

7:30pm - Marrian, our TL, will be leading a 3 Realm Dragon Raid the BG will open at 7:30pm moving at 8pm from Dartmoor. Come join us for a fun filled evening with our TL and slaying Dragons! If all goes well and we have time we will also be venturing into Xanxicar's lair. As always, loot will be rolled on at the end, everyone is welcome.

Friday July 25th

Amy's Relic and Agramon Raid!

7pm - Friday night we will be exploring NF venturing into the Relic Temples and finally venturing off to see Lord Agramon himself! Remember we will need 4 theurgists for this if possible. Loot will be rolled on afterwards on the bridge; everyone is welcome to come along for a fun filled evening!

Saturday July 26th

Blue Knights Caer Sidi Raid

1pm - We will be meeting at Ft Gwyntell at 1pm, moving out at 1:30pm for Sidi. We will need clerics for the end encounter of this. The plan is to make it all the way to Apocolypse again. Loot will be rolled on at the end in Apocolypse's room.

Scavenger Hunt Winners announced!

7pm - We will be meeting at Vetusta Abbey for the conclusion of this fun event! Remember ALL 4 members of each team must be present to turn in items. The top 3 teams will each win a prize, and the top team will split 10P. In the event of a tie for first place the team that can name the most locations/mobs from where you got each item on the list will win.

Sunday July 27th

Dealgandas Exploration into Krondon

7pm - Dealganda will have a bg up at 7pm at Caer Diogel moving out at 7:30pm to explore the depths of Krondon. The raid will be going until 10:30pm, so once we have explored Krondon we will venture to pay Hagatha and the Mid Dragon a visit. Loot will follow the raid.

Quick tips regarding Gaheris:

• You will receive a free level every 2 days.
• Classic and Shrouded Isle zones offer 150% experience bonuses as well as double coin.
• RvR zones such as New Frontiers, Darkness Falls, Passage of Conflict, and the Labyrinth offer 200% experience bonuses as well as double coin. Darkness Falls is open to all realms at all times
• Realm Points and Bounty Points are earned by turning in Dreaded Seals. These can be found in New Frontiers, the Labyrinth and the main Dragons of the 3 realms.
• As of Patch 1.93, a new Spell Crafting line has been implemented to allow players to convert Glowing Dread Seals and Sanguine Dread Seals into larger seals to save inventory space. These larger seals may be turned in without the need to unstack seals with smaller :
  ~ 10 Glowing Dread or Sanguine Dread Seals convert to 1 Lambent Seal
  ~ 5 Lambent Seals convert to 1 Fulgent Seal
  ~ 5 Flugent Seals convert to 1 Effulgent Seal

List of things generally different from an RvR server:

• There are 2 types of Teleporters - Realm Specific Teleporters that will port within your realm and Universal Teleporters that will take you to any portable location within the 3 realms, including New Frontiers zones.
• There are no Battlegrounds on Gaheris. When logging in New Frontiers you will be ported back to the Relic towns unless you are on Agramon Island.
• There are no towers on Gaheris.
• Keeps consist of NPC Guards and Epic Encounters.
• In place of Relics there are Epic Encounters that drop Gaheris specific loot and Dreaded Seals including Relic Fragments that have special bonuses specific to each Relic Temple.
• The Minotaur Relics each have a specific buff that last 60-120 minutes that have bonuses that have various effects and bonuses.
• All Master Levels and Artifact Encounters need to be earned through PvE as well as any scrolls needed to activate them.
• Some Master Levels that are RvR specific will not affect you.
• Bounty Points can only be used to purchase standard items.
• Most gear is interchangeable between the realms. Only realm specific items, class specific items, helms, and two-handed weapons can not be utilized on classes they were not intended for.
• Quests are able to be done in any realm, except for special realm specific quests such as a class's line of Epic Quests or specialty quests such as Daniel's Quest or Holiday Quests.
• Players are able to own a house in each of the 3 realms housing areas per account.
