You could win a VIP key that will get you into all of the upcoming Rift closed beta events!

ZAM is giving away VIP keys that will grant you access to the upcoking Rift closed beta events starting Dec. 3. These keys will allow you to attend the starting event on Dec. 3-6 and all VIP events going forward from that weekend. I've been chasing keys for a while now, in an attempt to get myself and my bf a chance at the beta. I recently quit WoW because I felt that the direction it was going in wasn't one I wanted to follow. Now I find that the beta for Rift starts the day after my bf's birthday! Here I was, sitting and considering what to get him besides Cataclysm, and I find this. So it would be nice if I could possibly get at least one for him...I doubt I'll find any contests that aren't overwhelmed with people, but I'd love it either way!

I may or may not buy it, at the moment I'm more interested in GW2 but possibly by then I'll decide I've got the money to spend on two simultaneous MMOs. LotRO was my first mmo and I wanted better pvp then I tried Aion and it didn't quite grab me. Gunna see if I can find a mmo to settle on and Rift is just as good for my next shot as GW2. We'll see. First one to release holds me for at least a couple months.

I haven't seen this much hype for a game probably since WoW released. It's about time that we got a game that's really bringing some innovation to the table. The whole concept of Rift is amazing and almost a bit nostalgic to the good ol' EQ days. Traditional style gameplay has always been my fav and I am chompin' at the bit to see the impact Rift is going to make on the MMO genre. Hope everyone is ready, cause it's gonna be a wild ride. Thanks again ZAM for keeping the hopes alive on being able to test the game for all of us non VIPs. I know I'll be doing my best to get the buzz going and VIP or not, I can guarantee that any MMO players I know will be aware that Rift is comin' with the thunder!

I am new to ZAM but wish i had found it sooner. The information and scope of games is amazing. As for Rift i have been following it for a while since a friend mentioned it was in the works. The concept of the rifts and especially how the loot will be awarded by the contribution of the player and not the group as a whole is awesome, considering how tedious it can be to find groups especially at certain hours, and then hope you do not end up with one or more persons in the group that are "along for the ride" just putting forth enough effort to not get kicked for laziness. On the flip side, still having large raid instances (that change in content as you level!) is of course essential. Who doesn't like joining a large group and stomping monsters? >:D Can't wait to log on and explore!!

I've been following this game since its name was, "Heroes of Telara." I have yet to get a VIP and I am always on Facebook hitting F5 for a chance to play this amazing looking game. I thank you for giving us the opportunity to get a VIP beta key so we may test this game and give good feedback to make it even better than it already is. I've already told all my friends about the game and they want to play it on release, I'll also let them know about the ZAM Rift forums and website too. I've been following this game for a long time before the current buzz of the game. Also, I <3 Zam because I always read the EQ2 Zam site for the database, news and nice link to the EQ2 interface. So I'm glad that ZAM created a website for Rift !!

Have to say I am glad you guys are giving away keys. I got to know the staffers at Wowhead pretty well by being a volunteer mod for a while until I stopped playing the game. Learned a lot about Zam back then, everyone I have met seems to be pretty awesome people.

Also, my wife uses your site for Free Realms!

Good luck everyone on getting a key, and besides the more hype we spread around for Rift the better. I am eagerly awaiting this release!

The Rift is the first game in a long time that I not only want to play but that I will not even remotely mind putting out the $$ for.

I play a few other games and I like them well enough, but I see some amazing improvements to mmo concepts in Rift that have got me all excited.

What?? Not trapped in a single talent box for 75 levels?? Woohoo!

No doubling back and forth questing? Also yay!

Instances with storylines and environments that actually develop and change, just as you do? Yes please!

Spontaneous rift events that keep you on your toes and give you loot to boot..

A myriad of variants on each class that cross traditional class boundaries and actually let you play per your own playstyle? Sweet graphics? A stunning and dynamic world? Yes, yes and yes.

Not seeing anything not to like personally.

And yes a vip key would obviously be fantastic but come launch I'll be roaming the planes of Telara getting comfortable with the mage class, searching out souls, and helping to both open and close rifts either way.

Haha this is cool. With all the people that have "Rift Madness" right now this site will be hoppin in no time!! I have been getting my friends excited over this game for weeks now. (I think I am annoying them.) I know for sure at least 4-5 of my close friends irl will be playing cause of my annoyance. I wish I wasn't so busy at school lately or I would be all over the forums for this event.
