Nope. On rare occasions before I have managed to successfully 'Log In' but it would drop me when finding my online status. which would lead me to believe the server was (might be offline completely now) not offline but just being completely drained by the DDoS that it can't process the number of requests it needs, so to us it seems like its going on and off, or stopped responding.

Communication is the key to a good relationship...
You'd think Square would keep us updated by the hour every hour on the situation, it's the least we deserve. To be honest, all I see them doing is sitting in the boardroom discussing the next in-game update over some cocoa with little floating marshmallows in.

Holy **** ppl get a life this games means that much to u.I mean its a game ment for enjoyment not to live for and for those who want something for all the downtime. I would say the same thing SE says " go f*** yourself ". God it is only a day or 2 at the most only a few hours every so ofter. But i guess they cant be as perfect as alot of u out there.If u could do there job better then do it and see how many little bit**es complain to u about a few dollars and if u dont do somethin about it now i will stop playin. SO STFU !!!!! and try later

LOL! Ive been trying to get on since around ^:30 am pacific time and its now 12:18 pm gah! Im so freakin bored! This is complelty ridiculos lol... Oh well not much we can do but sit and whine and complain about it till it comes back on... Huh! 20:00 what time is that in real time????

I read that all you guys/girls get the POL-0011 error. Me on the other hand is getting POL-0033 error. Am I just wierd or is this just another dumb error?

they're basically the same error, too much congestion on the server and/or busy/down servers, in this case it is most likely another DDoS attack that is causing all the problems.

Cant beleive how difficult its to get on ff11 last 4 or 5 days . I know updates & server maintanance are neccassary to extend & inprove & sort problems within the game , now getting error pol 0011 today & yesterday so cant connect to pol even , been checking this wonderfull site & the official ff11 web pol site , And struggle to find enough relevant information that gives any indication of when normal ff11 activity will return , find this aspect more annoying than not being able too play this brilliant game dunno what else to type cept pissed with just getting error 0011 with no valid explanation :)

i think if they gave out gil for this, the economy in the game would get even more ****** up! Now if they credited maybe a free month or 2 onto our PoL Content ID's, that would make more sense. I myself have sent a complaint email to them about the constant downtime and hope that it wont fall on deaf ears.

.....damn FFXI, its like crack........ i need a Fix...... I NEED A FIX GODDAMNIT!!!!!!!!!

GAH!Stupid stoopid stoopid!I had my DSL temporarily shut off the day of the update, didn't even get to get the update >.< , THEN to my dismay, got my internet back TODAY, just to see that I can't log in at all. I am going to twiddle my thumbs as a new game >.<

Well, it's more just the fact that it is a human characteristic to press on our anger until we get what we want. We can't help that, it's on our genes.
People aren't posting here out of boredom, they are posting here as a way of satisfying the anger that they are completely entitled to in this case. =)
