How to Win
We have a thread in the General WoW forums for the contest entries. All you have to do is post a response in the thread that states what you’re the most excited about in the new World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion. For example:

Playing as a Worgen.
All the new changes to old Azeroth. I can’t wait to see what it looks like!
The new talent changes. My class is going to be OP. QQ moar newbs.

We’ll be collecting entries for the next seven days, and on Monday August 2nd, 2010, we’ll be announcing all fifty winners of the giveaway and we’ll then send you your beta key for Cataclysm! It really is that simple. Just submit the part of Cataclysm you’re most excited about, and you're golden!

Please Note: You must enter your contest submission at the designated forum thread. Any comments on this article will not be counted as submissions.

Additional Note: Both Tankspot and Wowhead will be having their own beta key giveaways in the next few weeks, so make sure you check out our entire network family for all of your chances to win!

++ If you're an AddOn author WoWInterface has almost an unlimited number of keys to give away.

Rules and Qualifications

In order to use the beta key, you must have a WoW account in good standing.
Posts in the contest thread that are not contest submissions will be deleted.
Users may enter more than one Cataclysm item that they’re excited about, but only one entry will be counted per user.
We reserve the right to remove entries if we feel like you're not properly participating in the contest.
The contest begins on July 26th, and all winners will be announced on August 2nd, 2010.
The fifty (50) key winners will be drawn from the pool of eligible posters at the end of the entry period.

I'm looking forward to flying mounts in azeroth, cant wait to play as a worgen, and trying out the new mage talent tree (Improved blink, ohhh right) and of course 5 more levels to do. I think I may have cryed a little when I first saw the cataclysm trailer :P

The thing that I'm most excited about in Cataclysm is the new world. Every zone gets a little destruction or a little twist from its original skin. I want to see what Orgimmar looks like after Garrosh reshapes it, into his own likings. To see the old Azeroth that we know and love(unless you hated it for some reason) be reshaped into something new and more interesting to the eyes.
I would also want to see the the grahpics in cataclysm. The screenshots of the water just makes me want to swim in it for hours. New color to places to make them more beautiful or more creepy for some places.
Also I'm lookin foward to punt some of the new gnome priest.

I've been looking forward to Cataclysm since it was announced. I love the look of the new water effects, it makes them look extremely realistic for a game. I really appreciate the aesthetics of the new content. I like it how they're including everything they've learned to do in Wrath of the Lich King.

The flying mounts in Azeroth are brilliant and I am pleased that it is now possible to get into areas that previously weren't open to exploration. The new zones look fantastic and I love the way they're overhauling many of the classes and areas in the game.

The phasing they will be using gives this expansion an edge over all other MMORPGs in my opinion; it feels like your actions have an affect upon the world, whereas in many other only games your actions feel disconnected from the world you play in.

I think that Vash'jir will be a brilliant zone which because it is completely different to all of the other zones we've encountered so far. The new races, the Worgen and Goblins, will give us another character choice, which will keep the game interesting.

The new starter zones look far more engaging then the previous zones retaining many more players that quit before they reached the higher levels.

But above everything else, I'll be glad to finally see the new dungeons which will be a challenge just like they were in Burning Crusade. All in all, I believe this new expansion will be a breakthrough and bring in lots more players. ;)

My whole body is shaking because I'm so excited to see the underwater city, new water and the story of the worgen and the goblin. Probably the new water going to give a feeling to everybody that is playing with the game. For me,the new expansion is a new part of a life that I have when I play with the game.
And as a Hungarian playier I say good job for Blizzard because of their lot work on World of Warcraft and the three expansion.

I suppose the first days of Cataclysm are gonna be a hell of a party just like they were in the rest expansions, and by saying that I mean that the excitement will reach itsâ€™ max level â€“ although due to studies I will be able to play about 1 or 2 months after Cata hits live and thatâ€™s at the best case(Due to last year in university =| ) but I really want to try out and enjoy the class Iâ€™ve been playing for 5 years(Mage) for just a lilâ€™ bit more since I wonâ€™t see my dear UD for a year or so before Iâ€™m done with studies. Also, considering that all the areas that me and some friends were exploring(Legal and Illegal:p) back then are gonna be revamped and actually improved in many ways and thinking of all the new features that will be introduced make me even more eager to go and play Cata for just a bit more â€“ Apart from that, seems like Blizzard will really come up with something balanced this time and let's hope they actually do so.

I want to try this beta out mainly because im a player focused on PvP, battlegrounds and Arenas which im Battlemaster doing every single achievement and in Arenas Im a Gladiator Hunter and a Gladiator Druid.
I'm exited of trying all the new features of this game all around pvp like new racials and new spells and giving feedback to blizzard so we can get a better expansion with most of the things balanced around pvp.

If you guys sent me this beta I wont only played it for "fun" but to really make positive feedback that I bet blizzard wants the most.

I can't wait for this expansion! It'll be amazing running into battle as a mere Human, then startle the enemy becoming a blood thirsty Worgen! Tearing the poor idiotic Horde to shreds, hell I wouldn't even use weapons! Just my claws! Laughing as the squishies run away in fear and chasing people from the nodes in Arathi! The best part of it all I could kill the Blood Elves! Someone has to lower their population and I will gladly!

Howl to the Moon and wait for the wild ride...Worgen for the win!

Considering that WoW emphasizes the Massively Multiplayer component of the game, I am rather excited to see what guilds can do for their members and vice-versa in the new expansion. As a guild leader of a large guild, I am anticipating these new changes for the good of the team!

The thing I am looking forward to the most is trying out a goblin hunter!
I have saved up gold on my main,purchased every heirloom possible, and cant wait to experience this entirely new race with a completely revamped class.

I'm really excited to see the dynamic of the game change again. It looks like we are moving back towards marking up targets, CC'ing and focus firing down groups of mobs instead of mindlessly AOE'ing them. The dungeons look amazing! I really love classic Azeroth and its going to be awesome to be able to revisit it.

As a hunter, i'm really excited to try out the focus system. I also want to see and experience the changed and new zones. I've been reading and watching alot movies but that's nothing against trying it by yourself.
I want to try the two new races (goblins and worgens) ofcourse, and basicly test out the new class and race mechanics, such as the druids lunar/eclipes bar, the warlock soulshard, the deathknight runesystem and as I said before hunter focus.

I'm so excited about the new epic quest chains in the low level zones, such as Westfall and Gilneas. I've read some about them and they seem really good! Really look forward to trying them out and that is why I want a beta key.

I'm mostly excited about playing a Goblin and Worgen, flying in Azeroth and getting to experience the game all over again in terms of leveling. Also, the day this contest is over is my birthday, which would make it an even more sweet birthday gift to get the gift of being able to test.
