My first memory is getting my lvl 2 hobbit minstrel killed by a pack of wolves somewhere around, Halloween 2009 I think.

My favorite memory must be when me and some friends did some extremely serious RP with our own edited version of the original story, I was Gimli, King of the Dwarves! xD
It was the first of times, it was the best of times

My first memory in LOTRO was the tutorial, but most importantly seeing Aragorn, ahem "strider", and the nazgul for the first time and realizing, "holy $&@%! I'm in Middle Earth!!

My favorite memory would be standing in front of the prancing pony just ****** around when this guy named Camerons asked me if i wanted to join his up and coming kin I said yes, not really knowing that i just joined the best group of people ever. Wouldnt be anywhere without my kin.

Good memories.

My first memory in LOTRO - Looking at a Nazgul, in front of me, while my hobbit was terrified.

My favorite memory in LOTRO - Going with a friend to an orc camp, high level, to wipe out all enemies, shouting "For the Shire" "For Rohan!". That was veeery fun ^^

My first memory in LOTRO is sneaking around on my level 15 or so Minstrel in the beta trying to finish the quests that gated the top tiers of Scholar - I had to be a sneaky little hobbit!

My favorite memory is all the evenings playing with my dad and husband when we lived on opposite sides of the country, and LOTRO made it seem, at least for a little while, like we were together.

My first memory is actually from the beta, when playing during the stress test was rough, and yet I fell completely in love with the gorgeous landscape and the flowering cherry trees of Duillond and Celondim.

My favorite memory is the first time I stayed up all through the night to RP with the friends I had recently made in a player-run RP tavern on the Imladris server.

My First Memory: I knew I was in Middle Earth, really in Middle Earth, the first time I walked into Rivendell. Things just came alive, and that's when I fell in love with the game. I remember seeing the Last Homely House, and seeing most of the characters from the game. Loved it.

My Favorite Memory: My first time logging into Player Versus Monster Player, and seeing two massive raids charging into each other. It was truly epic in every sense of the word.

Happy anniversary Turbine, and Middle Earthians, and thank you for the wonderful contests ZAM!

My first memory in LotRO: being blown away just by the scenery and the whole concept of actually being in Middle Earth.

My favourite memory in LotRO: having just teamed up with a kin-mate to do some slayer deeds - the look of bewilderment on my (non-gaming) husband's face when I explained to him, "I can't make dinner right now, I'm too busy killing orcs!"
Happy Anniversary!

My first memory in LotRO - I felt extreme immersion immediately when I first entered Thorin's Hall, the music was beyond anything other games before LotRO operated with.. very unique, distinctive, beautiful. Best atmosphere a game ever offered for me.

My favorite memory in LOTRO - Even though I was playing the game since beta, it took some time for me before I realized there are actual musical instruments in the game players could play with and with that, I've spent my entire next week composing new scores and replaying classical ones with my kinship mates.

Your first memory in LOTRO - Running around Bree doing deeds, thinking that every one I did would give me more awesome stats. Little did I know that you had to equip the the traits, and at my level I could only equip 3 of all the ones I earned.

Your favorite memory in LOTRO - I've been playing MMO's since 2001 and I've never reached the level cap before; my greatest memory of LOTRO is the weekend I reached 75 (for the first time in any MMO ever) and having friends let me run ToO (we didn't finish it all but I did get to see Saruman at the top), Draigoch, and Foundry with them. (I got a Worn Symbol for completing the Draigoch deed and another that dropped in ToO) I had the symbols made into two second age items and my belt managed to get 5 major legacies! Hands down the best weekend for me in any MMO period. (I know its more than one sentence, but its a very involved and awesome memory!)

Your first memory in LOTRO -
LOTRO is my first MMO experience. I was so glad (and still am) to play with my brother and meet a lot of helping and generous people. My first memory is when I built my Guardian to be able to help and defend my kin-to-be.

Your favorite memory in LOTRO -
What I like most is meeting unknown people and join a fellowship for a quest or an instance.
The most memorable was to be invited in a fellowship where get through Lone Lands instances. It was hard and we had to come back and again. People were sharing tips and helping each others. A great moment!
Thanks lotro

Thanks to tolkien and turbine for giving me a place to escape from the problems and burdens of real life. Although this should not replace life, they gave me joy to be able to go ahead despite the difficulties.
Again many thanks and happy anniversary to all people who appreciate this wonderful world.

Well, my FIRST memory of LOTRO was the excitement of playing one of the races and classes from Lord of the Rings. How could I choose from all of those possibilities at the start-up screen?!

My FAVORITE memory is playing with friends and family in a raid in Carn Dum. What a blast!

First Memory: Right after the tutorial with my first character, walking for hours instead of playing just exploring and seeing how awsome everything around me was

Favourite memory: to this day, still the first time I entered Moria and looked to that first huge flight of stairs (and getting lost for the next days inside all that creepy beauty)

My first memory in LotRO -- learning for the first time how to play an online game. This being done by finding out that you do have limits to how many people you can take on at once, and it's not totally determined by skill. Cappy vs 5 on-level mobs = dead Cappy.

My Favorite Memory in LotRO -- When I finally got to the level cap (65 at the time), which I never thought would be possible for a casual player like me, then my kinship downed Lost Temple with only 2 wipes. That's when I started realizing just how much fun the group play in LotRO can be, and has kept me playing and loving it since.

My first memory of LOTRO was thinking how cool it was to be an elf adventuring in Tolkien's world.

My favorite memory was discovering the cosmetic outfits and the ability to change outfits on the fly. Just awesome!

My first memory: The curving stairs and soaring ruins in Ered Luin-- the age and majesty of the Elves.

My favorite memory: Running through the Trollshaws, avoiding the killer bears and deer (purple!) and nearly running into a Stone Troll on the road! All in an effort to arrive at the top of the trail down into Rivendell as the dawn broke so I could enjoy my first sight of the Last Homely House in the new light.
